You didn't quite get the point there, it's not all about colour co ordination... It's to do with buying what's gonna do the job. You bought hope because it's shit hot not because it's pimpy and has a bit of bling appeal. Do you get what I mean?

I've just taken a step back and had a thought about the way I think about bikes and more importantly the parts I purchase for my bikes. Now I am currently saving and slowly building myself a bike completely from scratch with all the parts new, one of the first decisions I came to was the colour of my frame... This took me ages! But why? Because I, like many other people have this peculiar idea that bikes have to look sexy to ride sexy. It's a bit like people who mod cars or people who spend all of their cash buying the latest trendy phone or clothing... Are we becoming an aesthetic sport? I really started thinking about all of this after watching a BMX vid (came free with ridebmx mag, go buy it now - awesome) and basically I realised two things... FACT1: All BMXES are shit hot, no matter what they all look so stylish. Even the scruffy ones are beautiful in their own right. FACT2: BMXERS dont really give a shit what their bikes look like, the number of bmxers I see that swap frames leaving ALL of their components clashing, or buying a new part since their old one is knackered completely disregarding the fact that its bright orange and the rest of the bike is green... you get the idea! Really I've just noticed that (sublimely) I have been sucked into this world where everything has to be colour coordinated or be shiny with fan dangles on it... Whilst loosing site of the more important things like function! Why do I work my saturdays earning money only to blow it on a front CK hub that costs 100+ pounds when there is absolutely nothing wrong with a hope costing around £40 !! It's madness. Sure Chris King have all the bells and whistles but I refuse to accept that a hope hub won't be top banana for a trials bike. So really what I'm trying to say is that a bike that was going to cost me say £30 is now going to cost me £20 which means I can spend £10 on beer and a bird... Which results in A: a fully functioning bike offering endless hours of enjoyment B: A bird offering endless hours of enjoyment C: A great life :turned: I hope everyone gets where I'm coming from, god only knows why I thought I'd share this with you... But I just really wanted to say to you DONT think you have to spend all that money on fancy parts and then end up with a nice looking bike and nothing else, only spend money on the parts that WILL last and WILL do the job. Save your money for other things, you’re a liar if you tell me all you want to do is ride, it's just not true.

Not really, its more to do with less wasted energy in your kick resulting in further gaps and a more responsive/instantaneous feel. Not really, I was doing some gaps between benches the other day and the last one was pretty big so i kicked hard and the b*****d skipped - needless to say i went ass over... So even though it's a tiny gap between engagements it can still dump you over the bars. No it doesn't, that's one of the reasons CK components are so popular (Y)

It's very complicated to rip from a media stream! Your best bet is to get yourself a screen recorder and just record the window/region you are after :) Google keyword(s) - 'screen recorder' Hope that helps :D P.S. if you want to rip straight from the site as in from the stream directly i can give you the software but you'll have to google the actual method of doing it yourself since i'm retarded and can't explain stuff! :( :)

Hey, I'm trying to get hold of the little map (so to speak) that is next to the four wheel to two wheel drive shifter part of a vitara and i think SJs too... If anybody has one could they just take a picture of it for me? Or maybe they know of a place on the net where you can print one off... basically i'm just trying to get one for someone i know as he cant remember where the different points on the stick are! Can anybody help? :(

I've ordered my new frame in battleship grey but my rear CK is red and that was the colour scheme i was gonna run for front and rear hubs and headset etc... Does red actually go with grey? Any pics/photoshopped images that might help?? If not I might have to have a clashing bike (Y) shock horror :D

That's all well and good but if you're on a network (school or work or whatever) that blocks games and content such as that - chances are you WONT be able to access proxies as these are LOOPHOLES... Best bet is to download firefox or maxthon, print of a list of HTTP proxies at home then change the proxy settings on the secondary browser you have downloaded at work/school. Job's a goodun.

Alternatively pay £20 and get the dogs bollocks package allowing top priority downloads, top priority queuing and 50gig bandwidth (must be enough for one person!)

That's the best one - you jsut need to buy some honey from the area you live in and have a couple of slices of toast or something with it on and the pollen extracts or whatever get to be well good matess with your body and you get less hay fever innit. Wicked man.

Yes it is ^_^ Again, yes :- Bought the wheel from Joe but it was originaly Adams (lightest fecking wheel ever! Almost...). Bike's a bit of a shed I'm afraid to say but just a temporary thing till I get my new wheels :D 25 miles all the way around... so it takes an hour to ride a road bike all the way round the island!! And you're wrong, it's full of arseholes - everyones gay! :P

With you on that one dude :blink: In medieval times the court jester would poke fun at the king (making jokes about him etc). This was acceptable and the court jester was the only person in the kingdom allowed to do this (on pain of death). Doesn't this make you think? Humour if directed at a certain person, ethnic group or any other collective isn't meant to be taken offensively and should be taken on the cheek.
