  1. You are so damn annoying. I have personally told you more than once, and I'm sure others will have too... Put your videos in the right damn aspect ratio! Every single one of them is wrong. You need to set it to 16:9. If you don't know how - google it for whichever piece of software you use. It's SO damn easy, and makes videos look 100% better. Decent riding though Edit: I use "damn" too much, at the minute.

Feel like I need to contribute to my own thread. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5V2lWqIhmk
  3. That's amazing! I never knew you could do that. It was already running on both, as it happens, but damn!
  4. They're alright. Had one for about a year. Bombproof, but heavy. Sits between trials and street as a decent compromise, but as a result it's difficult to go really far in either area. Good if you're not sure which side of trials you prefer/like both - but I took a liking to the hoppy side of trials and it wasn't too great at that.
  5. Up 'till now - I've never had an issue. It's a Core 2 Duo @2gHz. Today, I received my HD camcorder (it's bloomin' sweet, by the way - video on the way), and hit a snag. I'd expected it, but I'm just wondering if there's a workaround. I can play and edit 720p alright, but at 1080 it coughs and splutters, staggers and just doesn't work all that well. Plays probably around 8-10fps on average, and occasionally stalls. I'm fine with sticking it in 720, but it'd be nice to know I CAN go for 1080 if I desire it. I'm in W7. I've closed all other applications and ended un-necessary processes, changed the power plan to high performance, switched the appearance down to Windows Classic, and gone in to the advanced settings and turned off all the bells and whistles. Is there anything else I can do to squeeze a bit more out of it? I don't really want to get in to overclocking... It'd mean learning how to do it, and I hear a lot of horror stories of overclocking laptops either way. Thanks for suggestions

I'm so glad you mentioned Mr. Snares. I'd almost forgotten about him after getting drawn in to other areas. Huge Chrome Cylinder Box Unfolding is just awesome. As is Rossz Csillag... whatever the rest of it's name is And Hospitality! I can't believe I forgot about this guy... I love you for reminding me.

    Sick Bail !

Pretty nasty... Was it a knock out? I'd expect at LEAST an "OOOF" from something like that, but he just lies there TF Disclaimer: Warning! Posting any content on these forums may result in multiple people* telling you how much more extreme and impressive they are than you. The administrators cannot accept responsibility for idiots pissing on your bonfire. *Typically, though by no means always exaggerators. Edit: On the upside, what camera was used? The colours are marvellous. Or was that a post-recording process?
  10. Superb. But I enjoyed the last one more. I put that down to the music.

    Intense Music

Purposely vague... Post the most intense piece of music you know. Any genre - that's not important (and indeed, partly what I'm interested in). Bear in mind intense does not necessarily mean angry and loud. You don't have to like it, either
  12. I would very much like to be able to hook. Whenever I try them they just don't make sense.
  13. If it's the same as last year, it's not a NEW year's resolution And single monitor? For an internet user? I'm appalled.
  14. He's such a beast. Also looks pretty funny with so many people riding the same frame.
  15. That's cool man Decent riding, excellent quality picture, and a supersweet back garden Don't you want a bit less air in your back tyre, though?
  16. I had a BB7 on the back for a while, and it felt lovely, but I just couldn't get it snappy enough. If you're going rear disk, do it properly and get a Hope. Ridden someone else's with a rear Hope and it's lush. Tech levers are the way forwards if you can afford them. Which way do you sidehop? If learning to go bigger with them is one of your goals, and you go to the left, I'd strongly advise a Magura.
  17. Would dual vees get it sub-6.5, do you reckon?

    Wrong Way Disk

Some of them do. If straight arms could be made as strong as curved (maybe they are - I don't know) it'd be a minor weight saver, too

    Wrong Way Disk

In about four years of having a disk, I've never had an issue, so it's either an entirely theoretical issue - or only if you use the same rotor for a very long time (hardly the case, in this area of cycling ), but the spiral should lean "forwards". Ie - the way they are pointing in the picture is correct. I'm no materials engineer, but it's something to do with different strengths of the material. It's stronger when being compressed than stretched, and in the idea that most of the time a brake will be used when rolling forwards, it compresses the spiral arms into the centre, rather than pulling them away. I've seen a couple of those floating rotors rend themselves apart under heavy load, and whilst I'm sure it's happened - I've never seen a "normal" rotor do it. That's my very sketchy understanding of it, anyway. Hopefully someone with some actual knowledge instead of a dodgy memory of something I never properly knew can provide a better answer. I'd be rather interested in the specifics, if anyone fancies a good, long type

    Thunder Bay

That was cool. Straight out of the old school, too
  21. You could try riding your ridiculously expensive bikes often enough that they don't go rusty....
  22. Do something I'm proud of. Not sure what yet
  23. Your poor acoustic treatment! How dare you!
  24. The Curve 2 again, but shy of that, my lovely Comp (before she died ). Looked more balanced, and thus nicer, with a white rear rim - but I didn't get any photo's of her then.
