Cheers. Mr. PrecipitationAvian - Music is Roustabout, from the album Collide by Beats Antique. I doctored it a little bit, the original is 4:00. Ben - Codec is H.264, though it comes out as a .MP4. I don't fully understand what's going on with it all at the moment - but I do agree. Watching the raw clips testifies to this as well. Just sharper and a bit stronger colours. I will experiment before the next one.

It's only short. Just wanted to chuck some heavy-duty footage at my new tower, see how it coped. Turns out 1080 isn't too much of an issue
  3. Am I getting dead mixed up or is does Nick = Eskimo with BMX/trials hybrid Triton? If it is, looks remarkably at home on a 24, too
  4. Very interesting indeed! Will be interested to see how it lasts. Seriously though Onza, on all your frames - STOP PUTTING BASH MOUNTS ON. No-one uses them any more, they increase weight, get caught on things when you fail, and worst of all put a massive stress raiser on the downtube. I strongly believe the 2010 Comp would have been one of the best mod frames ever made if it didn't have bash mounts or those crazy annoying dropouts. Also - am I being a spacker or is that a 1.5" headtube? Looks humongous. Get rid of the cable guides - zipties are lighter, cleaner looking, and don't cause any stress. If those dropouts are the same as on the Comp 2010, get rid of them. They're a nice idea, but they're crazy annoying. Go back to the small simple ones for use with cams. A non-curved seat-tube would be marginally lighter than a curved one, though perhaps that curve adds rigidity? I don't know. Finally - are those gussets on the seat-tube for strengthening or aesthetics? I don't know huge amounts in this area but if they're not there for strength, get rid. If you get rid of all those little bits of weight you simply don't need, you can use thicker tubing, making it a stronger frame whilst still sticking to the =<1kg target. Screw appearance, attack it from a purely practical point of view. Is post-mount really gonna happen? Go for it, if it is - but it'll alienate a whole bunch of people to start with.
  5. I realise that he absolutely beasts it - but he just doesn't suit stock.
  6. That was nice - and it made me want to ride real bad, so I guess you did a good job with the editing Only letdown was Bonobo. Been used way too many times now. Heh.

    Two Leicester Rides

Not out this weekend unfortunately. Currently a DualCore 2.0GHz and 4GB of 800MHz DDR2 RAM, and it JUST about hacks 720. Just bought a new tower off eBay that should prety much rinse 1080, so should be cool
  8. Any Linux users - what do you use? I never edited video when I was last in it, and PiTiVi is awful. Any recommendations? I'd like not to have to go to Windows again if possible. Video is last two Leicester rides. It's not amazing - but it's something to watch
  9. There's a difference between accepting that there'll be an energy crisis and claiming that an almighty organization is going to reduce the Earth's population by 7/8. Also - I'd say the world isn't all that far from chaos with what... three wars raging simultaneously? Or were these wars seeded by disguised Illuminati members as a start for reduving it?
  10. It amuses me just how similar conspiracy nuts and fundamentalist Christians[/other religion] sound. I didn't sway either way in the argument until I heard the Queen's actually a lizard from outer-space. Now I'm totally on Dave's side.
  11. God-damnit Jayjay. I thought we'd agreed on not using dubstep! Still - riding was pretty swish
  12. Nicely done Looks a fun place to ride.

Sweet clips - but here's a radical idea... Bear with me on this 'cause it might seem a bit outlandish. Why not try putting all these clips you keep posting together in to one collection sort of thing? Maybe put some music behind it - that'd be pretty sweet, I reckon.
  14. You DID build the greatest backyard trials park ever. That place looks FUN.
  15. Triiiiiiiiiaaaalteeeeeeech.
  16. Exactly this. 158's with 18:13.
  17. Back to the re-welded Comp, I think. Hope it lasts a while longer while I decide which way to go on a new one.
  18. Thanks. It's some cheapo 0.45x thing off eBay I got for £12.
  19. I envy you for a lunch break that goes on until it's dark Pretty swish video.
  20. Filmed throughout Feb. Music is Four Tet - My Angel Rocks Back and Forth from the Rounds album. Apparently a wide angle lens and good weather make ALL the difference (Bristol clips compared to non-Bristol clips)
  21. I've cut a finger off. Do NOT do it. Secondly - saving weight on the rider is vastly different to saving weight on the bike. Much less useful.
  22. That's funny - 'cause I think I meant feel-wise
  23. They're nice'n'all, but what's the need for two such similar set-ups?
  24. And that cleaning all the mud off those pedals probably would've saved more weight than those holes in the bash
