  1. Actually, I ran various combinations of XTR, SD7 and Ultimates for not quite two years.

    Bmx Park

Yeah - and I'll be heading there at some point - just wanted other options. 'Parently Radcliffe's pretty good - even if it's made of horribly splintery wood
  3. I haven't read through the topic, so it might already have been suggested: I just went in to the BuySell area for the second time (excellent development, by the way - kudos) and thought seeing new items easier might be nice. Like the "New Classifieds" box on the right of the home-page, but maybe extended to the full page height? I saw the "new items" link but that only brought up one stem. Listed down the side could be a handy development. Just a suggestion.

    Bmx Park

Hey. I've been getting a bit in to BMX as of recent. I've fallen in love with transfers and bowls (with bits of quirky shit thrown in for good measure ) Preferably concrete - but whatever. All the skateparks have dead little ramps - I want to play in some huge flowy bowls. What can you suggest? Edit: Before you say it - Scotland is too far
  5. Good God that camera man had shaky hands. Wicked riding though. How smooth and quick he got up that first tyre was crazy!
  6. I had a couple of these recently, so I thought it'd interesting what advice sticks in other riders' heads. When I was about 11, I remember asking my dad a lot of questions one day(think it was about this new thing in maths I'd just discovered called "algebra" as he was a maths teacher at the time). When I asked one of them, I apologized for asking so many questions, and he told me "No, don't say that. Never stop asking questions." it stuck with me ever since. Another was from a filmI saw. Can't remember what it was but I didn't particularly enjoy it. At one point, a child who's family were starving saw the neighbors had lots of food and asked the older sister if they thought they'd give them any. She turned 'round and said really sternly and said "Never ask for what should be offered". It hit me as a profound statement and it's been rattling through my head ever since. What advice/quotes do you guys remember/live by?

    Clean 001

In a word: Nice. I know it fits in with the website, and it kind looked alright - but I really would've preferred it in colour, I think. Other than that though, excellent. Please try and get Rowan Johns in 002, whenever it happens.
  8. Don't get me wrong, it's fecking huge, but Damon consistently goes considerably bigger than that. Pretty sure some of the CLS videos did too, even all that time ago Mint riding though - I just wish people could put things in the right aspect ratio.
  9. For a first go, I'd say it turned out far better than "alright". Was a bit surreal though
  10. I really want to go to Barrow Farm, it's just so damn far away. Silky riding
  11. Absolutely perfect timing. Been getting in to BMX recently - and this guy is JUST the style I love, and fecking enormous Awesome. Downwards travelling grinds for the WIN.

Samsung HMX H200 with a cheapo 0.45x wide angle lense. Thanks
  15. It's not reeeeally a video's worth of clips - and there's a hugely disproportionate number of gaps to anything else - but we're dead chuffed with the riding and I promised Noori I'd make one
  16. I'm coming to Leeds for my last year of university starting September. I know a couple of names in the area - but thought it'd be good to find out who's around. I have a car, so anywhere within half an hour's drive is classed as local. Ta

That's just a re-painted Comp that's already cracked. Got a ghetto-gusset on there, but re-welding ally never lasts long... We'll see.

Cheers. Mr. PrecipitationAvian - Music is Roustabout, from the album Collide by Beats Antique. I doctored it a little bit, the original is 4:00. Ben - Codec is H.264, though it comes out as a .MP4. I don't fully understand what's going on with it all at the moment - but I do agree. Watching the raw clips testifies to this as well. Just sharper and a bit stronger colours. I will experiment before the next one.

It's only short. Just wanted to chuck some heavy-duty footage at my new tower, see how it coped. Turns out 1080 isn't too much of an issue
  20. Am I getting dead mixed up or is does Nick = Eskimo with BMX/trials hybrid Triton? If it is, looks remarkably at home on a 24, too
  21. Very interesting indeed! Will be interested to see how it lasts. Seriously though Onza, on all your frames - STOP PUTTING BASH MOUNTS ON. No-one uses them any more, they increase weight, get caught on things when you fail, and worst of all put a massive stress raiser on the downtube. I strongly believe the 2010 Comp would have been one of the best mod frames ever made if it didn't have bash mounts or those crazy annoying dropouts. Also - am I being a spacker or is that a 1.5" headtube? Looks humongous. Get rid of the cable guides - zipties are lighter, cleaner looking, and don't cause any stress. If those dropouts are the same as on the Comp 2010, get rid of them. They're a nice idea, but they're crazy annoying. Go back to the small simple ones for use with cams. A non-curved seat-tube would be marginally lighter than a curved one, though perhaps that curve adds rigidity? I don't know. Finally - are those gussets on the seat-tube for strengthening or aesthetics? I don't know huge amounts in this area but if they're not there for strength, get rid. If you get rid of all those little bits of weight you simply don't need, you can use thicker tubing, making it a stronger frame whilst still sticking to the =<1kg target. Screw appearance, attack it from a purely practical point of view. Is post-mount really gonna happen? Go for it, if it is - but it'll alienate a whole bunch of people to start with.
  22. I realise that he absolutely beasts it - but he just doesn't suit stock.
  23. That was nice - and it made me want to ride real bad, so I guess you did a good job with the editing Only letdown was Bonobo. Been used way too many times now. Heh.
