Pink forks, orange bars, transparent stem.

Piss is the same colour as Red Bull. Piss is a lot cheaper than Red Bull. Do you think it could be a viable replacement for when I run out?
-
I'm afraid that fails to explain why it was ever on your computer in the first place Awesome riding though! Can't wait for Radfest. It's the only way I can justify the journey to Barrow Farm.

I think my thumb has a larger circumference than your leg. How do you even manage to stand up, let alone do all that?
-
No, I'm not saying we should bow down. The second half of that sentence and the one following it explained your question. Didn't you read it? "He's been riding a long time, so he's heard the arguments for sure. It's his own choice." You didn't know what was a crime? If it's my statement of not respecting a rider because they don't wear a helmet being outrageous, then no. It's not a crime. Nor did I say it was. I said it was outrageous. It's like not respecting an amazing rider who DOES wear a helmet, but smokes. Or a rider who is equally good, but drinks large quantities of alcohol. Or even a rider who wears all the safety gear in the world, including bubble-wrap, but who has a chain they know is getting on a bit. ("Replace it every three months!" "But it's only ten weeks old!" "That's near enough! It could still kill you." when most chains I've had are good for a year or so.) They're all personal choices. Just because one leads to serious issues more instantly that another is irrelevant. Continue this on Facebook if you're still concerned. I'm conscious that we're arguing in someone's benevolently intended thread once again. If you're so safety conscious because of that accident, why do you intentionally put yourself in dangerous situations on a bike?! Sure, you wear a helmet to protect your head, but if you go over the bars and bend your well-protected head so far back it snaps your neck, you're still f**ked. What I'm trying to say is (in summary): Riding is dangerous, but we still choose to do it. Wearing a helmet will help against some injuries, but if we're choosing to put ourselves in such hostile conditions to begin with, what's wrong with choosing to do so with one less safety precaution? I wear mine because it defends against pain when I fall off, which I do a lot - but if you have a reason that in your opinion outweighs that - let's face it - very occasional defense (whether it be looking cool, or keeping your head cool), why bother? You're gonna get hurt anyway.

So you don't respect any of the pro street BMX riders? He's been riding a long time, so he's heard the arguments for sure. It's his own choice. I'm not condoning it, let me make that clear, but to say you have no respect for a rider because they wear no helmet is outrageous. Do you lose respect for people who don't warm up thoroughly before every ride? By the looks of things, he's also one of those who has come off so many times he's a reasonable idea of how to bail instead of crash, so it's probably more a feat of "skill" that they didn't end in serious problems. N.B. The word "skill" is in inverted comas as it's not really the right word. Instinctive reactions, muscle memory, whatever. Skill just sums it up nicely if not taken literally.

...So what if he DID switch to ride the M5? If you're good enough that people will let you do that, and you want to, what's the issue?
-
No - that's fair enough - just know that that's not how we meant it, either. It was less a comment directed at you specifically, and more an observation of the average rider. If someone posts a video, even if they're amazing, where they're not wearing a helmet, you can literally guarantee what one of the first two comments will be.

No. No difference whatsoever, largely due to the fact that the wheel still has a 20" outside diameter.
-
Couldn't agree more with this. Having said that, I wear one all the time 'cause I'm a sketchy b*****d
-
Get some 24" specific forks. Same dimensions as 26" just with the mounts lower down the leg.

First one had an awesome groove, but it was a little repetitive, and was a long time coming. If it was busier, maybe it could stay that way, but I'd definitely say it needs more variety (though what's there is really cool). Snare got a little irritating too. Second one really wasn't my cup of tea, so I won't comment on it other than to say the bass synth 0:52-1:06 was sweet. More variation, and more focus on it

Then maybe the +35 1090. It will feel long though. Just to reiterate, wait for some stock riders to reply. If I had my way, you'd be getting a +70, 1010

Vincent Hermance, Damon Watson or Ali C?

Depends HOW new-school, and what sort of new-school you want. Comp, TGS, or a modern streety geo? Edit: Though coming from a Pace, whatever you want to do, I'm pretty sure it'd take you a long while to come to terms with +55mm on the BB. I hate stocks - so don't take my word for it, but +35 1090 sounds rank. Another vote for the +35 1070, mainly because it's a bit more similar to what you know. I've been on a Ozonys Cannibal V3 (very +35, 1070) which was alright, and I've been on a Coust V2 (+40, 1100 I think) which was horribly long. Also been on an Inpulse R26 (+50, 1090) which sums up everything I dislike about stocks (sorry Kyle ). Cannibal was certainly the most rideable for me, but then I'm a mod rider through and through so you're probably better off ignoring everything I just typed Not too sure why I'm even replying. Ah well - it's written now.

Awesome. Would've liked a slightly more even trials:BMX ratio, but whatever. Still sweet as hell.
-
...£80. ...For a piss pot with a visor? ...Jog on. (Plus I think they look silly )
-
Sorry - I didn't mean it like that. I was trying to be funny, not an arse. ...Apart from the bit where I said it was awesome. I meant that bit.
-
That was awesome. I love watching people with a compy riding style on street. Three tips that would've made it perfect: 1) Don't use a song that a million other people have used. 2) Make it considerably longer. 3) Lose the ridiculously short shorts!

This is what your post reminded me of (just need to dub "spelling beeeeee" over "bugga maaaaaaan"). Edit: For anyone that doesn't know - that's from the Metal Bikes Dead Bang BMX DVD. I suggest you go watch it. It's great.

Please tell me you don't actually think they're all referring to that one mistake? It's more the horde of others surrounding that one that raised the issue, the one in the title was used for humors sake.
-
Yeah. Edit lower definition clips, get it all snazzy, save the timeline, open a new one, import the timeline, exchange low definition clips for high, render.
-
If you stick with Premiere, but smooth playback is the issue, look in to proxy editing. I never actually tried it since I had money at the time and bought a reasonably decent tower, but if you read through both pages of that it seems pretty simple, and VERY effective.

Sweet video. Great thing to wake up to! Wish we had that spot - looks real fun.

There's quite a lot of Linux options, but if it's just for one video that's not really worth the effort. If you were going to do many, it might be worth converting, or at least setting up a Linux partition. (Linux and software is free, and that's assuming you would rather do that then get some Windows software from under the table. Newer version of Premiere gets my vote if you do that.)
