  1. Why are you two so obsessed with having everything Zoo? Nothing against it - just a bit weird.
  2. It was a long time ago now, and I've since been on other people's bikes with Vees and would change the arms, but I had: SD7 lever. SD7 arms. Shimano Carbon Booster. Heatsink CNC backings with Yellows. Ed Potts made me some 4bolt-v adaptors. Wilkos cable. Was pretty good, but I think I'd follow the herd with XT arms if I were to get one now.
  3. Kinda feeling similar to Ali at the minute, but I would love to see another option on the market if they refined the design a little. (Most importantly the 0.5/1mm thing!)

But it's not common sense, is it? If you didn't care one way of the other, it'd be common sense not to reply - if you DO care (whichever type of caring it be), it only makes sense to reply. Back in to non-replying mode for your satisfaction. It's just that you've stated that a few times (twice in here and other times outside this thread), and felt the need to chirp up.

Where to start... Insulting people I have a lot of respect for wasn't a good start. Refusing to listen to reason when it thrown in your face MULTIPLE times. Threatening my friends. Insulting me. Making outrageous statements with no hint of humor or backing it up and instantly kicking off when taken up on it. Making "apologies" only to return to your prior state after a couple of days. Being generally antagonizing. Pretending like nothing happened and expecting it all to be as if it hadn't. Your hostility. I know there's more that aren't coming to mind at the minute. Each on their own I'd probably let slide, but each time you do something aiding the cause it just gets added on top. No, I'm not going to go back and find specific threads. Normally, I'd consider it, but I've things to do now.

I'm back on Sunday bro. No Kyle? Ride during next week? Not Sunday - I have yet to inform him, but I'm going to Bunny with Josh on Sunday

You are my problem with you. ...Or was it someone hacking your account that made all those posts/PMs over the past couple of months?
  9. Shouldn't be too much of a challenge
  10. I reckon you'd be safe with 11. 9/10 rides here seem to start then, so yeah. Kyle and Jules both have my number if anything comes up though.

    Don't hold your breath.
  12. Monnnnnsterrrrrrrrrrr. Is that stuff as big as it looks, or are you actually 4' tall and riding a specially scaled down 16" bike?
  13. I find going riding makes the most notable improvement to the muscles you use in riding... ...But then I find the idea of going to a gym abhorrent, so I guess I'm a bit biased

Run by Welder (aka Eskmo). Welder album is Florescence, Eskmo album is self titled. Both very good, but I think Run is the best track on Florescence. Cheers!

Dan recorded some clips - asked me to edit 'em. A very slippy day in the aftermath of a reasonable freeze. Not groundbreaking riding, but a seriously fun day out
  16. Having you guys all say LBSs are better than Halfords makes me feel bad. When I was still new to trials and scared of bleeding a Magura in case I did it wrong and broke it ( ) I took it to one of mine, where they told me "No mate, you can only get hydraulic discs. No such thing as a hydraulic rim brake" [chuckle chuckle with a condescending smirk upon his grey-bearded face]. He continued to claim as such even when I lifted my hand between our faces where I had it looped up. They're good for everything else though. No-one had the spoke length I needed, so they cut some longer ones down and cut new threads in to the ends for no extra charge.
  17. Um... Rides in Leeds actually happen about three times a week, weather permitting. You just don't come to them

That is JUST what I needed for tomorrows ride. The only reason you don't take the place of "my favourite rider" is that you're pure street, and I love a bit of TGS. That means you take joint first with John Webster Awesome video, and I'm glad you used Jel. I'd forgotten all about him, off for a listen Footage side of it was just as good as the riding (180ing that rail?! WHAT.)
  19. I never had one either, but from what I heard the ratchet track was glued/bonded in to the shell. Don't know who came up with that idea but it's pure idiocy! Was never going to work.
  20. Hahahaha. I read that as Mark W and thought you two had fallen out
  21. I've never noticed any difference in spokes, to be honest. I've had a set of each, and a few sets of cheapo ones - one of which was £5 a set from an LBS. The cheap ones seem just as durable as the expensive ones. Very rarely snap any, but expensive ones just as often as the cheap. Maybe it's a mod thing... less leverage etc. - though I had the same thing on my 24, but I never got much good on it so that might be why.
  22. Single cage pedals, Stiky Lite rear, Small Block 8 front would be the main weight savers. ...But single cage pedals are pretty snap happy (either the cage or arms), Stiky Lites are dear as f**k (especially for how quick they wear), and Block 8s are absolute shite (for grip and puncture resistance).
