  1. Awesome watch. Didn't want it to stop! What happened to Joe's wheel? Really hope it was on film somewhere that's yet to surface if it was through riding.
  2. Just to throw another option out there, I had a creak fitting this description for a while, and then snapped both ends off my front axle. You can enjoy that thought whilst riding around
  3. I haven't read through all this so it might already be in progress, but every time someone quotes a post I made, I get two notifications of it. Not sure if it's the same for PM's - not had one since the upgrade.
  4. Oh I see. I thought by "making your bars lower" you meant making your bars lower (ie. lower/shorter stem and/or less stackers) Rolling them back will help with streety lines, as you meant - I just got the wrong end of the stick. It also won't make the bike any worse for trials-trials. I used to have my bars' rise pointing in the same direction as the stem's shaft. Rolled them back to see how much easier it would bunnyhop, and whilst it's better for them, it's no worse at all for sidehops/gaps/tech lines etc. I find further forwards is only good for trials-trials, where as further back is better for everything (with no ill effect towards trials-trials). I have Monty 221 risers set at about halfway between being perpendicular to the floor and the angle of my headtube.
  5. NO! Other way 'round. It's the same concept on 24 and stock, but to different degrees, obviously.
  6. I don't understand the measurements on the graphics... It's got 272 written on the chainstay - but they're obviously longer than that, leading me to believe the 272mm is the length indicated by the line... My question is: who the hell wants to know how long PART of the effective chainstay length is? If they were going to do those type of graphics, I can't understand why they wouldn't make the measurements that actual geometry of the frame, rather than the lengths of tube sections used.

It's the name of the song Thanks again to people that replied since my last post! Thought the choice in music might go down badly, but since no-one's mentioned it you must be a more accepting bunch than you let on

I wanted that in this one, but those wooden beams are the closest I can get at the minute. Rails are diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiificult. Thanks for kind comments everyone
  9. Good god! How tall are you? You make that thing look like a Mini Master! Sweet video man, really enjoyed watching it. Had a great feel to it.

Luke and I doing a joint video has been talked about pretty much since I moved to Leeds. We finally got 'round to doing something about it, and this is the result of the past two Saturdays. He was making an absolute mockery of Huddersfield and Morley yesterday, so I'm pretty chuffed with it
  11. I'm with Mark on this one. It feels like you want some publicity, and are willing to use the memory of this person to get it. I urge you to drop it.

Was so chuffed for you when you did that gap in Hinckley Getting some pretty hefty stuff done, the both of you!
  13. Also: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/user/6343-dan6061/ Edit: Damn it, Err!
  14. I had some pads that were better than LGMs once. They were called Magura Blacks.

Well it was posted before Danny Mac's, and I've not seen anyone else do one... If you're only counting ones that were documented I guess it could well have been, had he actually made it. In short, no. He didn't make it, so how could it possibly be? Edit: Just remembered there was an Ashton/Diamondback video where Ashton (I think?) did one off a wooden rail in to a foam pit at Adrenaline Alley. Not sure when that was, but it was in to a pit, so didn't count either.
  16. Have to say, I did too, and I'm still not entirely certain they're not.
  17. Of all the people that have gotten Hexes recently, he's the only one I know of that actually suits it. Mint watching, and as has already been said - rail line was absolutely awesome.
  18. Damn right it was worth it, even if only for people on the watching end of the internet! A great watch. Only thing I didn't like was the lack of bike noises.
  19. Great video, yet again! Most of those lines were fully hefty!
  20. You have really nice ears.
  21. For those of you that don't know, Carl (CalopS) has quite an impressive beard. Tonight, a drunk guy walking down the street shouted to him quite aggressively: "Oi! Gimme your bike! Now!" He repeated this a few times, before extending it to "Oi! Gimme your bike now, or... I'll... pull yer beard off!" It was fantastic. Edit: Not so much a question, but damned funny.
