What's wrong with The Rainbow Bike? I wanted one SO bad when they were available, but no money and I've never liked stocks made it a bad idea. If they'd done a mod and I had cash, I'd've been all over it.

Can't find any listings of NoWar Hole rims, but with the Sky rims which I'd wager are very similar you want 268's. That's 3x on both sides. A 2x makes it 260, 1x = 255, and radial = 253. I know that's not any real help since the rim might be different - but still Edit: Hub is 44mm flanges, and 44mm flange-to-centres. To save you the tremendous effort of looking, that was using an ERD of 594 and offset of 11 (reducing the flange-to-centres to 33 each side) here: http://www.dtswiss.com/SpokesCalc/Calculator.aspx

Yeah - I saw them, but it's the raw data I want so I can use it in my own program. I'm not sure how I'd go about extracting it from that app. Also, they're a bit pricey Thanks though.

I very rarely used the RSQ thread, but now it's gone I find myself needing it I have an idea for a little project I'd seriously like to embark on, but there's one major stumbling block to overcome before I start. I've never really needed to use Bluetooth before, so this may well be pretty n00bish. The project will entail a heart monitor (something like this: http://www.amazon.co...ASIN=B005560PU4 [EDIT: Turns out that one's not Bluetooth capable, so assume I linked one that is ]) communicating with a laptop. If it works, it might progress to work with a phone, but I need in on the laptop for starters. From what I can find on the net the chest units communicate with their watch via Bluetooth. Since my laptop has Bluetooth capabilities built in to it, could I get the signal to come through on that? I don't know if there's different Bluetooth protocol's or anything that might make it impossible. Just wanting to find out if it's a project doomed from the start before I spend any money. I literally just want the data on the watch receives to come through on my laptop - be it a BPM, or a signal on each heart beat the unit detects and I'll work out the BPM on the laptop. Cheers

Seems to've taken to 24 without much of a transition period!

For a long time, I've wanted a way of carrying my trials bike on my back so I can get to a ride on my getaround bike. Does anyone know who makes that "bag"? Sweet video. I've definitely missed his input whilst he's been injured.

That was nice Spot looks fun, but it kinda rubs it in that Bunny is no more when I head back down south Keep it up man, it looks like you're over the getting started hump! Looking forward to seeing how quick you progress.

Didn't know all those differences, and they pretty much give the best answer possible Will there be a Comp alternative around again? Nice geo, but dead simple to keep it supercheap? I really think you had it absolutely bang on with those frames. Just needed getting rid of the bash mounts (Snail-cam option would've been nice, too.)
-
Please understand this is in no way a challenge, it's just a question: This is a 2010 Comp/Blade, but with different geo, built in booster, and a couple of minor differences, right? Same tubeset, same dropouts (I think... hard to tell), similar weight... Why is it so much more expensive? I realize it's all-round better with the tweaks -most notably the built in booster and lack of bash mounts - but £110 extra seems a bit much even if the raw material costs have gone up. Did the company lose out a bit making the 2010's so cheap?

Awesome Missed pretty much all you guys on the Sunday... Ah well. Was nice to see what other parties got up to! Most of it pretty damned swish!
-
That was awesome. You've both gotten so much better since I left I'm almost Ok with the thought of coming back! Almost

Guuuuuys. Stop it. Maybe he was being a dick, maybe he wasn't. Personally, I doubt it, he seems pretty sound normally. If nothing else - bear in mind the guy's typing in his (at least) second language. I'm sure it's not easy to get your point across safely in a second language when it's such a damned minefield even when speaking in your mother tongue! Just let it slide. I'm a little amazed by you guys to be honest. All the street riders I've met a typically ultra-laid back people (occasionally to a fault ), but you get so arsey when someone on the internet says you're not riding trials. You know you are, I know you are, anyone who's opinion matters knows you are. Now I know it must get irritating for you, but can't you just laugh it off? If they actually mean what they're saying, I hold their opinion as invalid as a football hooligan's, and I thought you would've done the same. (I realize I called you "you guys"... I'm really hoping you won't take it in a sub-sect-ist way, and if you don't, you prove my point that you should just let it go. [Edit: )]

Just get on with it. If you're gonna ride brakeless, you're GOING to fall off. Fact. The more you fall off, the better at not getting hurt you'll get, and the less scared you'll be of doing so. I should know - I end up face down on the floor nine times out of ten
-
That was pretty cool - bit miffed with my lines though. They all felt a lot harder at the time than they look in that video Make more of Stan please. Too smooth/massive/tech/awesome to have as few as he does. Edit: Glad you managed to get the crazy guy in the background of the last line

We were supposed to be riding today to get some more clips, but it got called off due to the weather. Instead, he asked me to just chuck 'em together as a short video, since it's been in the works far too long already. Fate seems to have been working against us getting footage ever since starting. A lot of these clips are pretty old now and the level of riding doesn't really do him justice, but it's pretty fun, so whatever
-
I don't think I will ever "get" moto trials.
-
That was great. You need more videos making!
-
That's 24s for you Seriously though - nicest looking 24 I've seen. Maybe just some green detailing to balance the rims. Stem stackers and/or bar ends'd do it
-
I'd wager it was the tube exploding, but yeah Insane riding. Me so jelly.
-
Yep. After Friday I'm free from uni - so any time.

Oh suuuuuuuure. Go when THEY say to! I've been dropping hints for months! (In fairness, they've almost all been directed at Luke, so you're excused ) Sweet riding guys. You three are the ambassadors of style+HUGE.
