  1. Calm down guys. Grammar Naziing is one thing (that I understand I'm especially guilty of), but BandWagonGrammarNaziing™ developing in to personal attacks is another entity entirely.
  2. If one was actually better than the other then no-one would use the other one, would they?
  3. Most of those accounts have 0 posts and were made pre-2006 I'd wager there's no more than a few hundred "regular posting" (once a month minimum) active members. I don't want to see another Barrow Barn video until you've set a stack of pallets up and sidehopped to the rafter. Sweet riding though. What happened to the Onza (and when )?
  4. I have a pair of Stiky Lites. They're real grippy, but otherwise I just can't get on with them. Too fond of my slicks. They're about 40% worn - PM me if you're interested in them.
  5. Came to TF specifically to find the cause of your FB status, and believe I have found where they once resided
  6. You also have an ellipsis in your "Weight Weenie..." above your avatar that leads me to think that untrue.

    Funny Crash

So did I! It almost looks like it was intentional
  8. Looking forward to this Chai's rolling gap in Brum is off the ridiculousness chart.
  9. I'm suffer the exact same problem, and it's the main reason solo-rides are so hard for me. It's not so bad as it used to be, but it's still a major issue. If I'm riding with friends then low-to-average traffic is not a problem. If I'm with friends in a high traffic area I'm quite uncomfortable, but having other riders with me seems to make it Ok. If I know those people are watching me it's crippling. If I'm riding alone with zero people around, it's fine (though I lose motivation after a couple of hours), but as soon as there's any more than a handful of people in the area I just seize up. I just don't go to places where there might be people now. Some people get over it, others seemingly don't. Just keep pushing yourself in to it for a while and it might let up - if it doesn't and you want to ride the places where there's normally lots of people about, go at night Edit: So it's not exactly the same. I'm alright with cameras so long as it's being held by someone I know. Ridiculous, really.

Certainly having moved to a hybrid type geo hasn't helped, but I think it's largely down to me being a dainty little princess.

That big one in Bristol was 54, but at the minute I'm struggling with 48
  12. I'm not here to get involved in this thread - I'm purely here to give you a hard time. Please start typing more accurately. Be it grammar, sentence structure, spelling... whatever. Your posts are a f**king nightmare to read, and it gets even worse once the reader has decrypted/guessed what you've actually tried to communicate. For example, you seemingly can't even properly spell the name of the company you're so adamant to promote.
  13. Holy crap... When dressed as a Mexican, you look like Danny Kearns! Hahahahaha.
  14. I just had to pull the nail off my finger again, so this acted as very nice compensation indeed! Love the Kloud frames almost as much as I love Stan's riding

But Vimeo < YouTube, since you can't upload files larger than 500MB unless you pay them. Sorry for the premature thread - I'll sort it in the morning.

...So this has pretty much consumed my life this week. I've been wanting to make a "big" video for a long time now. Upon acquiring a new camera, I had the idea to do a "best of" type video for all the time I've had the one I just replaced. I then went off the idea, but Josh talked me back in to doing it, so I did. It started out as a ~10 minute deal, but I kept finding clips and feeling I couldn't rightfully have clip x feature in it but not clip y, so it gradually grew and grew and... well... it is what it is. Perfect excuse to scratch an old itch As it stands, it's still longer than most people seem to want to watch even though I've been fairly aggressive with the edit to make it as short as possible. If you think it feels a bit disjointed and not really a whole-single-big-video, you'll just have to deal with it, because that's exactly the case I'm not much cop at editing video, but I really enjoy it (hence the project) so it's essentially a slew of mini-videos all strung together. Some people's clips aren't up to scratch with their others (largely speaking for myself here ) but they got included 'cause they were a big deal to said rider at the time of filming. Some of the clips are two months old, and some are a little over two years old. I promised myself I wouldn't waffle so I'll leave it there except for an interesting list (just for the people who like to keep track of who's who, as there's rather a few): Me: Red Jaf mod, 2011 Echo Lite, Spatter effect 2010 Onza Comp (pro paint job innit blud - mostly just looks black in clips though ), Bionic B4S. Josh Leech: Red Jaf stock (maybe it doesn't feature... can't remember), Black Jaf stock, Echo Pure. Kyle Livesey: 2010 Inpulse R26, 2011 Inpulse R26, Koxx Coustellier, Black Onza Zoot (doing a backflip ). Ben Roberts: Zona Zennith, Yabbaa 1499. Noori Brifcani: Echo Control. Cocky: Born Ultimatum, Maestro, Neon X-Ray, Inspired Hex. Paul Ruskin: Raw Onza Limey 4 (and me for one up-to-front), Stantard Onza Limey 4, Echo 24". Chris Hinson: Fans Speed Race stock. Chris Groves: Because Trial 24". Shaun Hook: Zhi Z3 (I think?) Tim Stedman: Pashley. Ben John-Hynes: Ozonys XS26. Adam Thompson: 2008 Neon Bow stock. Jamie Allen: Adamant A1. Sorry Carl - I don't know how I've ended up with no clips of you. The only one on any of my HDD's is the SuperCrash, and that's for a different project Some have just one clip, some have a lot. Making this made me realize just how much more important good riding company is than merely riding. Thanks you guys. Edit: YouTube blocked it, so here it is on Vimeo. It's still yet to convert (currently 13:10, not sure how long conversion takes) but I have to go to work and won't get back 'till late, so you might have to wait a bit yet. https://vimeo.com/57440840 Sorry - 720p only as the 1080p was in excess of 5.5GB.
  18. FINALLY! Haha. Been wanting to see just a plain and simple side-shot for ever. Looks really nice built up. Only thing I'd think about changing is as above - if you're only running one gear, there are much less cumbersome tensioning products/techniques available (ARE you just on singlespeed now? How's the mix'n'match hub performing?) Are they the Spade forks? I never realized how big they looked. Almost look like a modern take on Fatty D's "Stern" is the word I'd like to use to describe them.
  19. Excuuuuse me! I said no such thing. SOME of them are in Morcambe. Maybe all are - I don't know as I've only been the once and certainly not seen all it has to offer. The ones I saw that I know are have made me want to return.
  20. Saw this thread. Saw that you posted it. Got excited about seeing how the Jaf rides. Was disappoint.
  21. Fixed rear hubs with space for more than one sprocket are pretty damned rare these days.
  22. God damn it. Now I wanna ride Morcambe again! Sweet videos - but Sherco's right; the music was terrible Reeeeeally don't understand Gary's sidehops. They look like they're in slow motion. Totally bizarre.
