Hahahaha.... Nice Of my experiance - Never had a grind on my own bike - but they are better than not having one. Don't intend to get one as they put my wheel to too much fear Grinds are better - but not for everyone I'd say. (Ontop of what all the others said)

Notice I said "got access to" - not just "got" Lol So destroying the tool's out of the question... And I'll most likely use that from onzakeiron if nothing easier comes up... Cheers Flipp

Right... switching to FFW - need to know the best/easiest way to get one of these old horrible freewheels off my hub. [attachmentid=7862] It's only got the two indents... and the only removal tool I've got access to has four prongs... Any suggestions/tips from experiance a welcome... Cheers Flipp

I'll ride if I can get a 15t skrew on sproket by then, else I can't. A grind off boumsong'd be nice beforehand aswell - but that might be asking a bit much for 3 days...

Not tried this myself, but... To fit V's to a four bolt frame, you need a special adaptor. You skrew it into the lower hole and it allows you to then put the V's onto the frame. ...Searching for link... Can't find any... but they look kinda like a block of metal, with a bolt through it. They're about £7 a pair... Will edit if I find some Flipp EDIT: LeedsTrials beat me to it Spent ages looking for a link so didney see it...

Awesome! Very good riders, and even got a particular style to go with it... lol Some people are just... good - their riding has no character. Not like yours Loving the bunnyhop gap at 2:25 - best clip in the vid I think Well done you two You should be sponsored in my opinion Flipp

To help the healing process, make a cut where the break is - needs to be deep mind... And when it's bleeding like a good'n - tip some salt into it and massage... After 3 minutes of that - wash the salt out with the strongest alcohol you can find, then rinse with water. Dab it dry with steel wool, and then soak in vinegar for 15/20 minutes. Do this twice a day and it'll heal twice as fast this way Thehehehehehe!!! Nah - they say six weeks to make sure you don't get your hopes up, but they took the cast off my ankle after 4 saying "We never leave it on more than that really... only if it's completely mashed..." Drink milk - don't use it while it's broken - stop activities if it hurts - and when it's "officially" healed, ease back into the regieme (sp?), don't just blast it or it'll break again straight away I know how you feel, make some videos... kept me occupied for a good protion of the time Enjoy your time Flipp

Thankish everyone, will just get the £5 job... You've succesfully put me off slime I'll just run 'em a bit harder and ride smoother

Right... Just got another snakebite and decided it's high time for a new tube. I've done a search, and it's not here yet, but what about these? Linky Anyone tried them? And are they any good for trials? I know they more than probably won't hold out against a pinch - but there's a lot of thorns and glass around aswell... Either get one of these, or a normal tube with slime lining... Your help please Quick answers would be handy as I want to get riding soon... Cheers Flipp

Anyway, the Frame... £230 Brakes... £120 Wheels... £200 You trying to find my seat... Priceless Seems awesome If you make them - I'll get one Got some more stuff... will talk sometime. Flipp

A luxury some of us don't have... (This is a shout for any Loughborough/Leicestershire riders to give me a friend... flipp1@hotmail.co.uk) Flipp

You just gave yourself the answer Pull the bike up further towards you, if you don't go higher with it - you'll need to tuck... Unless you don't want children, you should put it to the side rather than the middle... It also allows for extra height (Instead of hitting the gooleys... the crook of your knee allows for more upwards movement... more space there... ) I can't get NEARLY that high so I'm not speaking from experiance... just logic. Errrr... Firstly, he said "four ring" - not four arm. Secondly, I'm pretty sure it IS four arm. Four bolt is the normal teminolgy used concerning maguras, not chainrings... NB: I DID say I THINK Flipp

Abit Of Fun For The People Online Tonight!

I ate a homeless guy because that's how I roll.... YAY! -
Hmmmmmm.... Great riding I think . The first song (Voodoo People) is great, but I can't help but think it doesn't suit a trials video. Same with the second one (but I don't like that one either way ) So yeah; Great riding IN the video, but a poor video in itself... Sorry :$ (It's the music and camera that's not so good, otherwise it'd be great ) Flipp

I run 22:18. However, I've not been biking all that long - about 4 weeks in total (2 weeks before, and 2 weeks after I'd broken my ankle) At the minute - I'm getting about 22" high as my sidehop limit (vertical) About 2.5-3' (feet) across pedal kick (I call them lurches?), And pedal hoping (to me - lurch again ) up is about 12" I'm on a T-Pro incase you wanted to know I couldn't tell you what length my cranks are, I just bought them Can you say if these heights are about normal for my time? Bearing in mind I broke my right ankle and I'm right foot forward so I'm a bit weaker (still re-strengthening)... I'm a bit worried I'm falling behind , as I have no-one to bike with in my area, I can't compare. (Anyone around the Loughborough area, give me a shout on msn: flipp1@hotmail.co.uk) I'd say the ratio is very nice to ride, I love it... Go for it Any help? Flipp EDIT: 22t sproket is on cranks, 18t is rear freewheel.

Thanks Joe However, I did say "old skating footage" . I thought that would have implied the whole crappy-quality-shaky-hands-all-in-all-not-very-goodness... lol I'm going out in a couple of weeks with a friend who's got a good camera and a tripod, so I'll have a PROPER vid soon enough hopefully... The bold is used on the important words in the post, so the lazy people (like I would) can just read the bold words and know what it's about Flashy aren't I lol I've got a 19" rim now - have done for a few weeks, and I didn't notice that much of a difference? Maybe I've not been riding long enough to notice the subtle differences, but I do seem to adapt to different bikes very quickly - so maybe that's it Flipp (P.S. Question still stands: should I make a topic from that post so people can search it? Or is there already one?)

Jesus man! You've started six topics in about 20 minutes!!! In answer to the question, I don't know I hope not though, I was thinking of getting some soon. Flipp

I don't know why everyone keeps saying this... I built up my T-Pro buying bits individually for it, and I started off with a cheapo back wheel 'cause I had no money. The idea was to save up for a 19" later on - whilst using the 20" untill I had enough money. All you need is a half-link. I ran an old 20" rim in my T-Pro (you supposedly NEED a 19" in the frame) with a half-link in the chain for about a month! I never even noticed a hitch... So long as the rim is wide enough for the brake pads to reach it that is eBay - cheap as chips A half link is like, the fat part of a chain, and the thin part, jammed into half the space. It adds 1/4" to the active chain length (1/2" in total chain length, but you've got half of that on top, half on the bottom), and I found that was PERFECT running 22:18t. Each tooth on a sprocket/freewheel adds 1/8" to the total chain length needed. Some of the time, you'll find that a whole link extra is far too long, and a whole link under, makes it a bit too short, for the rim to line up with the brake pads - the half link will solve this. If the chain is just too long, take one link out, and put the half link in it's place. If it's just too short, just add the half link as you would a normal link. The half link makes the chain just long enough for the rim to be pushed back enough for the brake walls to be in line properly. Bear in mind, the half link on the eBay site I put up is only for 1/8" chains - not 3/32" I know it's slightly off topic but I thought I'd just let people know Flipp P.S. Should I make a topic out of this so people can search on it?

Ok, sorry - I missed "video" out. The "KNOW"s should have been in italics, got it the wrong way 'round. Should have read: "VIDEOS - SKATING - EXPERIMENT - FIRST VIDEO - MUSIC, THE ENDLESS FEED, DARK TRANQUILLITY" My mistake. And no, I don't have that much money for Adobe Premiere. I'll stick with WMM. Who's Waynio? (not been here all that long if he's famous) The bold words, I just put in as an afterthought. It's the words that are like, more important, so you could just read those words and you'd get the idea of the whole post - it's for the lazy people (ie, me)
