  1. I don't have a halflink chain - though I have a halflink in my chain. Most people say they're weak, and snap happy - though I've run mine for my entire riding time ('bout 7 months) and not had a problem with it atall... ..EVEN when used in conjunction with a split link!

    Mod?

Not being funny, but I REALLY like my T-Pro. True enough - they dent - but they can take a shit load of abuse... 38" sidehop's on it yesterday (I'm sh*t.)
  3. For that music - the editing's not bad atall. I could only suggest to try and get starts/ends of clips, or the actual takeoff/landing, to fit with a beat in the music. It's a bit more effort, but it makes it much nicer to watch. Other than that - I can only say a tripod would be adviseable, but not essential.
  4. Looks lovely in mod. Looks vile in mock.
  5. Guard AND ring? How optimistic...
  6. Get one of the old, rounded-off alan keys. Superglue it to the bolt, and let it set. Unscrew and become unskrewed.
  7. I'm dead impressed with that - enjoyed it a lot. Now I've never seen your "proper" "video material" riding, but 1:37 was an actual BEAST. Liked the music a lot also. Flipp EDIT: I can't seem to stop watching that video. I'm on about the 15th time now... What's the music?
  8. Admittedly - not quite what I was expecting, but now I've seen it.... It's still rather respectable Kudos.
  9. Clarky you bitch! You've still got my innertube!
  10. Just a tip-off: If you're using WMM; Tools > Options > Aspect Ratio - select 16:9. You've filmed in widescreen and not translated it, which is why it's all stretched vertically. If you're using Premiere; right-click the clip > Interpret footage > Click the second radial button down in the ratio field (the one that's NOT "Assume square pixels (1.0)") and select widescreen PAL/NTSC according to your camera. PAL is 30fps, NTSC is 25fps. Rather good riding/editing (other than the above) though.

    1090mm 20" Mod

Jesus, that's almost as long as longcat.
  12. Onza Keiron - does that mean you were previously -onza-rider-? Somehow - in past experiance - two people having a similar name doesn't quite make them the same person. Just imagine.... That'd make my grandad the president of the United States of America.
  13. I like watching silly bails - like TRA's on the slope, and others where you're balancing and bars just rip out your hands. I also like watching one's that are escaped from very well - eg, the DRASTICALLY failed abubaca out the quarter to the rail. I DON'T like watching the serious ones, like the brake-roll on a rail, with a 6' drop to land flat on his back. They're the sort that shouldn't be repeated in my view - apart from the odd occasion, to show the risk when people get overly-cocky In future - make 2 videos; one called "Bad bails" and the other called "Funny bails and escapes" Hahaha
  14. Aren't they all CNCed? That's the whole point of Deng
  15. What's "standover"? Never heard that term before.
  16. Can only think of Heatsink and Tensile - though I could SWEAR I've seen an Onza booster kicking about somewhere Also - just because everyone has it - I wouldn't class "Wanting to be different" as a good enough reason to warrant not using some of the better parts. Admittedly - non-Deng parts can be better, but price-considerate, and comparitively, Deng parts hold out pretty damn well. Why do you think everyone gets them? The logic behind making a point of trying NOT to use what's good - simply put - baffles me.

    Damon Video 6

I didn't like the song - but yeah, it suited the riding quite well I think. Mr. Watson - you are very silly. What kind of silly billy jumps from walls and rails on a bike? Especially at those distances. He he. You ARE a strange one. Very nice
  18. Well you're just a bloody nut-job ain't you. Not heard that song in aaaages. Editing was immense. Loved it.
  19. But then lets face the facts: Saying that TRA can snap a frame isn't saying much. He's built like a tank, and I wouldn't be surprised if he could snap a frame clean in half, to which other people couldn't even dent! EDIT: No offence to TRA - just stating facts
  20. It's a long-shot, but does anyone know the song at the end of Damon Watson 5? It's like a heartbeat, with his bails as the video part, along with sidehopping the BMX. Adds a little guitar/keyboard (hard to tell) on a failed hook. Anyone know? Please?
  21. I can only think - if it's a brand new frame - you may have had a freak of machine and the hole is the tiniest bit too small? Sound's a dumb question, but is it a compatable headset? I know someone who had a frame to take an internal headset, but got a normal one that was somehow a lot wider, and hit that in. The interior bit of the cups was much longer, and butted up against the bearing braces inside the frame - leaving about 2.5mm jutting out the bottom. Other than that.... Pffffff..... Did you put it in wonkey? Not a clue.
  22. I would advise you to take that as "You're a bloody nut-job bud.", as that's how it was intended
