  1. Oh but I don't... Not with you, anyway. I was just chuffed to bits with them, and wanted to show them off

    Pet Hates

No. And I'm not hungry now, either.

    Pet Hates

People who have a go at you for being cranky when you've only had 18 hours sleep in the last fortnight. (I'm tempted to call it insomnia, by now. Is that valid?) Hunger. People who just don't catch on that you're in a bad mood, and don't want to know how smashed they got last night. Hunger. People who boast - expecially when the boasts are not true. Hunger. People who talk so loud you think they must be adressing someone other than you. Hunger.

    A Trials Joke.

We were just on MSN, talking a bit of shit. A joke surfaced, amid a conversation. I personally think it's hilarious. A trials rider walks his bike - rather gingerly - into a mechanic's shop, and says to him: "My back wheel keeps calling me a c*nt." The mechanic has a good look at it, and then remarks: "Ahhh yes - I've seen this before... You have a harsh grind."
  5. Phat pads are excellent Great on a grind, but don't go TOO overboard - I did by accident, and one of mine is wearing a bit quicker than I'd like.
  6. It's a girraffe, and no. I haven't gone past 1/2 yet :$
  7. Boring - but I'm not often looking at it. Saves on a tad of RAM too, 'cause I'm a tight bugger
  8. Good shit. Would've rather seen you stick the frenchie though. I guess we'll get that in the full video? Rather large stuff.
  9. I see what you mean, though Just pinch them together. They shouldn't move too much. If they feel quite loose - you need it tensioning. Unfortunately, I haven't any idea where you could take it to do that, as I just do mine myself.
  10. Could you not just trim the bolts down a bit? A little less fiddly alternative to lots of washers.
  11. ^^ Absolutely. But just to save the pennies... Does anyone in your family have an old bike with a bottle rack, or a pump mount, or anything like that? The bolts that hold them on the frame are more often than not M5 - the same size you need for your cams - and are usually about the right length. They work perfectly - I ran them like that for about a year.
  12. JEEZ MAN THANKS FOR THE AWESOME HELP. We already KNOW it's something to do with that, as that's what a rear wheel comprises of. Where did you get it trued? If it was you LBS you shouldn't be having troubles like that, to be honest. If it was you who did it, or a friend, have a feel of the spokes. The wheel comes out of true much easier when it's loose. Is it deffinately the rim buckling, or could it be one side of the axle slipping in the dropouts? (ie. is the whole wheel wonkey, or is it deffinately a buckle each time?)
  13. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! You're older than me, Danny. Just so you know. FIVE WHOLE YEARS OLDER. HAHAHA. Happy Birthday

    Predicament!

Just before anyone mentions otherwise - the "No" was me. I am beggining to be persuaded though

    Predicament!

Not quite accurate, but the same effect. It was a DIYed table router. ie. A hand router, mounted upside down into a table. It didn't have them removed - they just never got fitted. The blade came through a fence, but there is a device that stops the wood from shooting back, which is what happened. EDIT: I also asked him about claiming compensation - not sueing. I believe there's a difference. I wasn't going to make a thread - as I didn't want to get shouted at for not having done it already, but seeing as it's already been done...

    Predicament!

No - I did - and I'm being a twat about claiming. I don't agree with it, and dick'ead here decided to let me know in a deffinate manner that it'd be a good idea. It's not the whole finger, but it's about half of my front braking finger. Edit: Beated.
  17. I don't read either of them - but why is this?: Edit: By that, I mean why is there 2?
  18. Why? I was really enjoying that. It was a shit topic that already got answered within the first two posts anyway. And - apologies to OP if I'm wrong - but the chances are stacked pretty highly on this being a troll.
  19. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaspect ratio... PLEASE... It's not hard. Tools > Options. Set it to 16:9. Then it'll look right. (I assume you're using WMM) Nice effort
  20. Just a wee adverticement bump... I put these on with a new bleed and a fresh (very badly executed) grind. Went out for a ride, dragged my brake a bit on the way there. Got half way there - and it's only a 5 minute ride away - and they started honking. Got to the spot, and they were putting out some serious volume. Out-loudnessing (<--Hahaha) a grind + tar + koxx's.... I didn't mention that it was raining. Well... It was After an hour, I could pull the brake, and put a full bodied jump on the forwards pedal. You'd be lucky if it got a squeak. May aswell have been welded in place. Seriously... Get them. Best. Pads. Ever.
