  1. Not quite true. If you're going on such a small amount of sleep as this - apparentlyyour body simply shuts down when you give it the chance. This is why the first week is so harsh - you're body isn't expecting it, so it just misses out on the naps. After you transition, you get so tired - due to lack of rest - that when your nap-time comes around, you drop off into REM straight away. 6x20 minutes of REM sleep totals around the same amount as in a single 9 hour sleep. I read through all the diary entries at the bottom... It's pretty interesting.
  2. To what I'm proposing, or Dan6061?
  3. Danny - I did have a full time job - but I lost it. Recession (and amputation ) 'n'all that bollocks. I heard you do it pretty regularly Kris And I was more thinking of starting around the time I move in with you - and just come home at lunchtimes.
  4. That'd be all good and well - ti-mig-guy - if Dan Ko ran your average business
  5. Does anyone on here do this? Here is a massive long article about it - but I'll sum up (along with a few points from a few other sites): Take 6 naps a day, each lasting 20-30 minutes. This totals between 2 and 3 hours per 24 hours - meaning lots more free time - a very good thing, for me. Pro's: More time. Supposedly you feel healthier/fitter. Breaks the day up into small chunks. Much more vivid dreams. Con's: An agonising first week whilst adapting to the new pattern. It takes 2-3 weeks for you to mentally adjust to such a routine. Having to take naps in the middle of the day can be somewhat inconvenient. Possibly TOO much spare time? I just read on it for about 3 hours, and it's seriously appealing to me. I have massive trouble sleeping anyway - so I figured if I deprive myself of it, and force my body into taking it in little chunks, it might be a better system for me. I have yet to work out how it will work around college, and the job I still need to get - but if I can manage it I'm seriously interested. Sounds VERY beneficial, if you can make it through the transition. I'm not bothered about having to spend lots of hours in the night by myself, I do that anyway Anywho - discuss Flipp.
  6. I saw the source picture of your avatar on a completely unrelated website the other day, Fishy.

    16/11 Ratio?

...Surely you only mean on the right?
  8. Yep - 'cause you get punctures bigger than an 1/8th all the time
  9. Do it. I have a 203 on the front of mine, and it's fine I only have half a finger to pull it with - so it's not as good as it would be for most - but no-one complains about it when they have a go. They're too busy whinging about the drivetrain
  10. Your seat's wonky in the last picture.
  11. (12:45:38 PM) Flipp: SERIOUSLY good work from a friend. (12:46:12 PM) Flipp: OH WOW. (12:46:14 PM) Flipp: I like it. (12:46:18 PM) R E V O L V E R: TECHNO (12:46:21 PM) R E V O L V E R: the bike? (12:46:25 PM) Flipp: Yeah. YES BRUCE.
  12. Sound enough, deffinately whack some pictures up though. Pronto. Also - could you not jsut set your products up in a two column table? One row per item, and then in one column have a "Buy me without fittings!" button, and in the other column a "Buy me with fittings!" button? So it looks like twice as many products for your customers to choose from Also - a little thing - but you might want to clear up whether the "Buy a complete ( 2 brake set) for only £20 posted." includes pads or not. (Does it?) Nice little site - I'd ask you to get some proper webspace though. You can get 'em REAL cheap... like, a tenner a year. Makes you look a bit more professional.
  13. ...That was somewhat of a bizzarre post, Mikey.
  14. CK ISO rear with 18t Trialtech cog, and 22t Burns with V8's for £40.
  15. This is not good. Do not do it.
  16. I'd just like to ask you both: What the f**k are you on about? Heh. I like Cubase - but now I say that, I guess I'm not proving you wrong in most people's opinion :/ . How come you have no VST Instruments box in your devices list? That presents a complication. Is it the standalone version, or the VST?
  17. Plus the fact that he's right, and the offset mounts can only move the slaves further out. Turn 'em 'round and they just function like normal moutns.
  18. I'll be in Bunny at 12ish tomorrow. Maybe a bit earlier - depends what I do tonight.
  19. But I'm afraid he's not etirely wrong... They are f**kING heavy The brake mounts on mine weren't level, either. As Joe said though... Never had an issue with mine. Outlasted my Pitbulls AND Zoot forks put together. EDIT: You're kidding, right?

    Dreams...

I had a dream where you all died, and I was a better person for it.
  21. Why don't race BMX go seatless? Same shape as a Phython, with BMX geo. Save WAY more than the 100g or however much this seat does..
  22. Not quite like the ones I think you're thinking of - but TRA and co. were running these weird adjustable things a while back. Not sure if they still are - haven't seen anything from him in quite some time now. If they can take HIS forces - I'm sure they could take yours, but I'd just have a hard time trusting them, I'm afraid. EDIT: Sorry - can't provide a link or name or anythhing - just thought I'd throw it out there.
  23. Agreed with Simps. Also - I read the bit about over-rotating to get to the back wheel - but I'm confused. That second picture - the first one upside down.... The motion blurs make it look more like a front? Please tell me I've gotten the wrong idea somehow
