My mind still boggles at trying to understand how you guys think that validates him running a business shoddily. As I understand it (which isn't all that well ) - a shorter one will just be a bit more responsive to turning, and longer will be a tad more stable - pretty similar to bikes, thinking about it, though the longer ones are more stable at speed, rather than on the back wheel I've only been 3-4 times, so I could be completely wrong, though.

I rode a guys mod a little while ago. Was crazy spoke patterns. Front disc side - 3x Front driveside - snowflake Rear disc side - snowflake (edit - not a rear disc used though) Rear driveside - 3x Looked cool as f**k, and didn't feel too bad. My wheels are generally a bit loosely built though, so I guess that's not a fair test He's been running it for ages. 18 months ish.
