  1. My mind still boggles at trying to understand how you guys think that validates him running a business shoddily. I'm sure he's a real sound guy - I've never met him - but if he's SO busy, shouldn't he either get a business partner, stop selling products untill he's not so busy, or sell the business off? Edit: Just re-read your post - and I apologise to you if you weren't meaning that in sympathy with him. If that is the case - it's still directed at quite a few other people
  2. Tell that to people who buy and crack Koxx frames within a month Atleast his'll be future-proofed for 6 months or so Edit: Was aimed at Jaffacakes
  3. I don't expect to top what Mr. Jones said - I'm pretty sure he know's what he's talking about BUT - incase you can't get that one to work, or whatever - I've been using AVC for a while without issues Go with what JJ said though - I'm inexperienced - and the quality on certain conversions ain't too hot in this one. Does the job though.
  4. As I understand it (which isn't all that well ) - a shorter one will just be a bit more responsive to turning, and longer will be a tad more stable - pretty similar to bikes, thinking about it, though the longer ones are more stable at speed, rather than on the back wheel I've only been 3-4 times, so I could be completely wrong, though.
  5. So I got my Leeson a little while back, and it just f**king LOVES the ramps. I only know of a couple - but I know there are more kicking around in little villages. Anybody know them? There's bigger ones in Leicester, but I'm not much cop at it, and prefer them to be quiet. Shot in the dark, I know Ta.

    Tomala - Velvet

Really cool. Ejoyed that a hell of a lot. Edit - What's the song and who by? Really like it now.
  7. 'Kinel Patt. Good effort.
  8. [Most likely] Barely inflated rubber is a lot less forgiving than metal, yes Another vote for duct taping some foam over it.
  9. People really want it to be loud? Haha. I'm desperate for a silent hub, and dual disk Trying to find those shimano silent clutch hubs is a b*****d
  10. I rode a guys mod a little while ago. Was crazy spoke patterns. Front disc side - 3x Front driveside - snowflake Rear disc side - snowflake (edit - not a rear disc used though) Rear driveside - 3x Looked cool as f**k, and didn't feel too bad. My wheels are generally a bit loosely built though, so I guess that's not a fair test He's been running it for ages. 18 months ish.
  11. I took a pedal up the bum yesterday
  12. I don't mean offense by this - but if you can't figure that out, do you really trust yourself to build a set of wheels? If they're not right, you can get hurt, at the same time as wasting money
  13. What's the deal on something like this? If you feel you have a cause to do it - but it's not self defence - do you stand liable to get raped by the law? Always put me off the though of standing up for myself (thankfully never had to) when you hear about people who literally just had a scrap and get slammed for GBH.
  14. Nicesestestesest looking frame/forks Deng's ever made, in my opinion.
  15. I primed and laquered mine
  16. I REALLY hate to say this - but I actually agree with the kid for once. Well - I agree with the same sentiment he agrees with - not him, himself
  17. Moto on the front, blue groove on the back
  18. Of course they do. They're cheap. They would be Ok, if you rode it smoothly, and knew how to care for parts. Unfortunately, though, these bikes are aimed at beginners, who can do neither (Usually, that is. No offence.)
  19. f**k me that was cool. Really like.
  20. Static > manual was sexy as f**k. Song was even more annoying than last time it was in a video though
  21. I think they're the highest bars I've ever seen. Haha Looks fun
  22. Wow. Nice. What's it actually like to use then? I loved the concept, even first time around - but really can't imagine it being that nice. Just TOO used to normal levers.
  23. Really should'a'been "Carla".
