  1. I had this with my SD7, but it went away a bit when I switched down to some crappy old Promax arms. I guess you don't wanna do that though. Make sure your pads are dead square, horizontally, and bear in mind they'll likely need a bit of time to wear down to the right angle to hit flat (vees don't push square, unless you have one of those parallel-push ones... which the SD7 is not ). Set the springs to the lowest tention possible, but so that they still pull the arms back out quick enough. If it's easier to pull, you'll pull it harder, which might mean more bite. As for the cable - many would scoff - but I have yet to find a better cable than a Wilko's £1.70 jobby.
  2. And therefore it is fact? He could be the most rigorous tester in the world - but the result would still be his opinion.
  3. HAHA. So the only difference is the brake mounts, and he's not even using them?
  4. Prototype what? Like - who made it?
  5. So why didn't you post a thread when you DID have pictures? Desperate for attention much?

    Czar 24

If it were more diamond shaped, rather than headtube to rear axle being flat - thus making the seat more than excess weight - I would really like that. f**k me. I want those tyres. When should they be coming in? Around the same time as the disc only trial-tech forks? Canney wait.
  7. I'm a leeson rider. I love it for street - but that Richmond Trials in Vancouver video on the Echo seriously makes me want a bike like that. Even if I could afford it - the big wheels just don't feel... "right" to me. Can't get used to them. Something I learned from my Zoot... Either make it designed for street, or hoppy hoppy shit. Don't go half arsed. Zoot was good to learn on - and even eased me into the 609 after starting out on a mod, but I'd like a super non-streety frame too. I - personally - would want V mounts, but if there was a way of making all the mounts into the design - I'd do that. Save having to make different versions Like the 24UK did... Have all of them. Dunno how you'd manage that if it's the shape of the 3/320 though. I'd want it light... but not stupid light, like Koxx. It's gotta last some time. Make it feel like a koxx/rockman - but keep sensible prices, and use slightly smaller wheels. Oh - also - I'd want you to just give me one. Edit: Basically - I've gone whole hog on the 24 scene - but I really find myself missing the feel of a bike designed to gap and sidehop, and makes it easy to chuck yourself at 'em. And for those saying about a TGS 24 not having the benefits of either stock or mod... How do you know there aren't other benefits of such a size, if it's not really been tried out? Maybe they'll make absolute hooking machines
  8. You must be a very inefficient programmer
  9. Cripes. That must be so damned hard. Boarding with the hard bits of snowboarding, AND skateboarding
  10. 1:20 beholds the sexiest G-Turn I've ever seen. Holy hell. Wicked.
  11. Just for the confidence vote - I hate in ear earphones - but I've owned three pairs of full-sized headphones by Sennheiser, and my current pair are too. Consistantly better than Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer and Audio Technica - in my opinion. If these are anything like their other products, they should be at least "good".
  12. I have no picture proof of this - but my friend (mega-nerd - writes code for a living) is just a shade under 200.
  13. And given that I know them too, I'd say it's not a copius amount. It averages out at 0.6 cans a day, and they're only 250ml Stop sounding so big and all-knowing, twat I think you kind of missed my point, in your over-eagerness to insult me. Edit: I realise where you're coming from - but you should know by now... I don't tidy up very often
  14. Oh god... There's what... 15/20ml in there? Something marginally lighter than water, at that quantity, would save 2 grams, at the most (at a guess).
  15. Y'see - this is my problem. Who do I go with? Google gives me the same result... "It could be that you're really unfit - but it could also good circulation." I'm inclined to side with Ben on this one - it sounds more appealing - bit I'd still like to know the ACTUAL answer.

    Forks

A lot of them come with them already in - which ones are you getting?
  17. Oh god... That was good Mike
  18. Rubber, but I switch to foam in the mid-winter to keep my hands a bit warmer. (HATE gloves)
  19. Yep yep. And - with snowies on a smooth rim on the front of a mod, it makes for the best damn front brake known to man. (Well... THIS man, any way.)
  20. HEY. Leev him alone hez a wel betta guy dan ul eva b! U f**k of!!!!!!11

    Vimeo

And the reason youtube'll work when vimeo doesn't is the quality of the video. Vimeo streams better quality video than youtube's standard, compressed quality, so you need a more powerfull computer to run it. Just incase you wanted to know - so it saves you asking
