I'm afraid this is what stood out to me... Why do you specifically want it to be loud? Most people find it an unfortunate, but unavoidable side effect. I ran one for a fair while - I liked it a lot - but not many others did. Can be very good if you set it up right - but vee's just don't feel nice to a lot of people.

So - assuming they were standard pedals to start with - y'know - you stand on them, and they don't break - 100% less reliable would mean the very second you stand on them, they'll do something totally unexpected... Like start talking, somehow, and complain about always being trodden on. In this instance, I think I'd agree with the "buy light or put up with it", but on the whole I quite massively disagree. Drilling headtubes and griding bash plate mounts off won't make your frame "100% less reliable". Cutting down excess length on a steerer instead of running extra stackers won't, either. Surprise surprise, nor will drilling the sidewalls of your front rim.

The barbs are for the crossover. You need a shroud nut and an olive for the main hose. Edit: That's a shroid nut and an olive for each end.

I hate to say it, but here I go: (edit: "p rick" turns in to "willy") Twat. 'Fraid you'll just have to bend the spokes to get 'em in. Try and make it a big curve though, rather than a small one. The less you can bend them, the better.
