  1. Oh wow. A little dissapointed - when I first saw the title and size of the wall, I thought he was about to bunnyhop up it to wheels, but still. Wow.
  2. That was quite nice, actually. Just something a bit different to the normal video makes the difference
  3. I have no idea what the music you have to sound like sounds like - but the sound you have made is good, and I've heard things similar to it - so I guess that's a winner That second mix had everything I would've mentioned done - except the snare. Man is it annoying. Maybe it's just preference, but I'd pitch shift it up a bit - piccolo snares sound so much cleaner, I think - but also drop it down in the mix a bit more. Pretty mint other than that

  5. Trialtech - hands down - if you can afford them.
  6. Yeah - Ok. Never ridden there, and it's dead close - so might aswell make good on my promise Will bring Josh, who'll hopefully be on the new bike. PM me your number please?
  7. Was that really that recently? Seems f**king ages ago. Cool video man
  8. An excellent plan! Hope it takes off.

And if that's still not enough, chuck some higher rise bars on there, too. Also bear in mind that it could have something to do with riding posture - rather than your set up. Too straight a back, or too bent a back both cause issues. Ask people you ride with if your body position looks unusual.
  10. From what I've read in the past, it's not uncommon not to hear from him, and there've been a lot longer waits than 3 weeks. I guess this is the price of a cheap custom frame... but I've never heard of one not turning up atall.
  11. Touché. I should really have read the whole thread :$
  12. Was it really necassary to ask that question four times?
  13. Have you considered going old-school instead? They're still trialsy, but much better in park. Being 6' you might not fit on a 24 so well, and it'd save you buying all new parts etc. You can get old frames pretty damned cheap now - depends if there's a budget. Seen a few Pashleys for sale recently, aswell as a Zebdi or two...

    Ripping Grips?

I do like skinny ones I'll maybe give them a go - cheers
  15. I do, yes What do you want to know?
  16. I'll bring Josh, and if all goes well - BOUMSONG might be out. Crazy times eh?
  17. Levelboss copy, yeah - but it's heavier, so lasts longer 12 months of T-Pro and it was good to sell. Two months of levelboss and it died.
  18. Keep it 'till it dies. They ride lovely, and are strong enough to take some punishment.
  19. Hi. I used to run rubber grips, and loved them. With it warming up, this summer - maybe I'm actually trying stuff I struggle with - but already I was suffering from super-sweat induced slime-grips . I forced myself in to foam grips - didn't like them but the grip was worth it. Trouble is - I don't know how as they seem to last loads longer for other people 'round here, they rip within two or three rides. I've had a go on someone else's Trialtech foams, but didn't really like them. I think they were brand new - do they get nicer with "bedding in", or do they stay like that? Tey felt quite a bit firmer, and might not rip. I don't really like fat grips, either - so I want skinny, foam, rip-resistant grips I think you advisers have your work cut out for you. Any suggestions? Edit: I've just remembered a lot of people rate roadie tape. View points of people who've tried it please?
  20. It's by no means a bad spec. Are you comfortable on the bike with that spec? If yes - it's a good set up. If not - what's wrong with it? Identify what's wrong with it, and buy parts accordingly. Only thing I'd consider replacing if it was comfortable would be the freewheel, as mine skipped a lot. From what I gather, most of them are pretty good though.
  21. That's what (I'd estimate) 90% of stock riders use. The other 10% will run an alternative with a very similar gear-inch output - 16:13 etc. 18:15 will do you absolutely perfect, and 170's will be fine. Personally - I can't tell the difference between 165's and 175's. If it IS a tad hard/light - you'll adjust to it pretty damned quick anyway.
