I wouldn't say so. The skaters ('round here, anyway) all seem to pressure each other into dressing the same, doing the same tricks, acting the same, and liking the same music. That's fine, if that's how they want to be - skating's much more fashionable than trials. Being that trials is so much less fashionable, there's a broader tolerance for what a group will and will not tolerate. ...Or maybe we're (riders) all just a hell of a lot more stubborn than skaters I don't think it's as different as the guy above implied, but - unless it's just the places you've been to (though I'd doubt that) - I don't think it's a similar scene, either.

Did you get it working any better than it was yesterday, or did you just get used to it?

For an 11 stone mod rider, I like somewhere around 20psi/.

Shorts and a shirt. No-one ever rings me, so I don't take my phone. My bike barely goes wrong at the minute, so I don't need tools. All I take are my keys, and that's just the two (car and house) on a ring, and I just have that in m'pocket. On rides further from home, I take a bag, but always keep it right by me. Never had it robbed, but am VERY untrusting of townsfolk.

Tall people riding short mods quite often complain of back pains after a while. What frame is it that you have?

I have no idea what the music you have to sound like sounds like - but the sound you have made is good, and I've heard things similar to it - so I guess that's a winner That second mix had everything I would've mentioned done - except the snare. Man is it annoying. Maybe it's just preference, but I'd pitch shift it up a bit - piccolo snares sound so much cleaner, I think - but also drop it down in the mix a bit more. Pretty mint other than that

And if that's still not enough, chuck some higher rise bars on there, too. Also bear in mind that it could have something to do with riding posture - rather than your set up. Too straight a back, or too bent a back both cause issues. Ask people you ride with if your body position looks unusual.

From what I've read in the past, it's not uncommon not to hear from him, and there've been a lot longer waits than 3 weeks. I guess this is the price of a cheap custom frame... but I've never heard of one not turning up atall.

Have you considered going old-school instead? They're still trialsy, but much better in park. Being 6' you might not fit on a 24 so well, and it'd save you buying all new parts etc. You can get old frames pretty damned cheap now - depends if there's a budget. Seen a few Pashleys for sale recently, aswell as a Zebdi or two...
