  1. Been on the Because a few times. Bit weird, but over all very nice. (I'm 5'8) I guess it'd stop being weird if it were the only bike you ride
  2. Well that's your fault for wording it like a spacker. You called "street rides" mundane, and said that rocks are interesting because they don't involve straight edges. Birmingham, Nottingham, Leicester - all of which you say are not bad - and every other city I've ever been to are almost entirely straight edges.
  3. My mistake. It was supposed to make out that you ride Loughborough less often, as when you ride you usually go off to some rocks. ...Oh wait... ...Nope - that IS what I said. Also - Patt's back next year, too. Also also - I despise your snobbish attitude towards street riding. Tool.
  4. Only a handful of miles from Derby, but never been. Would anyone who know's the sights and delights care to show us around on Sunday? Ta
  5. Myself and Josh live and ride in Loughborough pretty much every day. Kris and Boumsong, to a lesser extent, too. When they ride they tend to go off to rocks. Will PM you my number
  6. Sweet as a nut, dude. Those frames look funky as. When are you back in Loughborough?
  7. I split mine, sent it off, got it back in the post three days later. Hope are fricken' awesome with customer care - everyone I know that has had one split gets a new one back for the price of posting it to them. Also - I originally had a 36h. Sent off with a note asking if I could have a 32h shell put on. "Sure. No worries" they said.
  8. It's fairly good, whatever your level of riding. Certainly worth it if it's not too far away. (You're only about an hour away in Northampton, right?) Or even if it is a fair way - I'd recommend it. Good fun to be had.

    Gapping

Relax more. Before the gap you looked quite rigid. Bend your arms and your knees, and as has been said - preload more. Be loose, rather than rigid and locked out joints... like water.
  10. You live in Leicester? I've never seen you about. There's a ride tomorrow, if you fancy it Lovely bike. I really do love the look of those frames.
  11. This. I always used to overlook it, but it really does happen. Pad's'll bed in within a ride if you move them about, normally, but a grind can take quite a few rides to start working properly.

    Pad Reviews

I have the Citrus Greens. Oh my god... They're awesome. They do wear down CRAZY quick on a grind, so I run a sanding pad over the rim, rather than a cutting/grinding disc. Best brake I've ever had. Even with that, they're half gone in a month. Still - I view it as worth it for such a good brake.
  13. Been riding around four years now, and never been to London. Videos make it look awesome, and want to go. Unfortunately, don't know the way 'round - so would someone who knows the area be up for a ride? Coming down from Leicester, so would likely be a lunchtime-ish meet.
  14. Quite possible. Will be a bit later on though. Got your's, Jamie's and Adam's number, so should be able to contact you when there
  15. Back of the library Just over the road from the pallets at the back of Iceland. Edit: That's the bit at 2:20, anyway. If you meant the lower (~35") brown brick wall that can be done from both sides - yeah, that's at the Leisure Centre.
  16. Unfortunately - that was intended to go to front, like the latter two clips. I have this issue where if I get too close it tries to go straight to back all by itself... Very weird, very annoying.
  17. Cheers buddy I guess we might have a wander down - Ben's back up for the weekend. Might be later than the usual 11 though, he's out drinking tonight. PM me your number please? Only got Adams. What time? There's no wooden walls in that video, leaving me a shade puzzled Edit: What's wrong with my balance? Also - there weren't ANY bunnyhops in that video Haha.
  18. I dunno. I've not noticed it myself - so I guess if there is (which I'm not so sure of), you'll adjust and get used to it. I had dual BB7 for a very brief period a while back, and it certainly felt nice. I'd still have it if I wouldn't bend rotors so often.
  19. BB7's are immense. I have a 203 on the front, but that's 'cause I'm missing a bit of finger, and need the extra power. Josh has a 180 on his bike, and holy CRAP will that thing stop you. Thanks, too Alex: I've been able to do rolling ones for ages now - it was the static ones I got messed up on
  20. It depends entirely on the bike. An average sort of stock will be around 11-13kg. An average mod, well... between 9.5 and 12, maybe. A mod built to be as light as possible can be around 7.5kg... so it depends on how far you want to take it 10.5kg for a stock will certainly be quite nice, though.
  21. I got bored so decided to make a video. This was the result of a solo-riding (unusual for me ) piss around in Loughborough. Filmed in ~45 minutes due to the frankly appalling attempt of battery life on my camera's part. Sorry if you're not a massive TGS fan - I usually try to weave some more imaginative bits in to my riding, but not today apparently. Also apologies for not too great a quality - had some what of a skirmish with technology. Finally, without trying to sound like I'm sponsored or anything, and on the off chance that they should read this, I'd like to thank Onza (or more specifically the person who designed the frame) for making such a god damned perfect frame. It is absolutely incredible, and I love it. Thank you. Edit: Fixed link.
  22. That was sweet! Really liked the interaction between studio produced music and live recording - that was a mint idea
  23. Fuuuuuuckiiiiiiinnnnnnnng Beeeeeeeeeaaast. Crikey. Finally, a video of those spots that don't make everything look pewny That was mint, but I STILL can't see any sparks :/
