To be honest, chances are you won't break one. Correct me if I'm wrong but they only normally crack if used for street. They are dirt cheap at the mo too with the kamel on its way. If your still worried about cracking/snapping you might want to think about an echo lite? (short) Geo is pretty similar, and theres no chance of you breaking it.

Shimano XT cable, better than anything I've used and cheap as hell too. No you wont have clearence issues, if you do just move the vee adaptors out (as in the three holes near the stud). Not sure about cousts, but my phat pads and heatsink reds have both been very honkey. Arms shouldn't be a problem at all. Nothing else you need to know that i can think of (assuming you know how to set them up well etc) Oooh just remembered: Running a booster = less noise. Shouldn't need to use one though, I've never had flex problems on my czar or ozonys.

Previous pads you have used: Koxx Brown, Echo Red, Zoo, Adamant, Echo New compound, Plaz, Rimjam V3, Rimjam Blue, Phat pads, Heatsink coust, Onza citrus... Ace, best pads I've used. Gotta say, i do love fat pads, but these are a little better hold wise and marginally bite wise too. These fannys who are buying them saying 'ah they don't work, its shit... obviously don't know how to set up a brake. How you can think that they are any less than amazing is beyond me. Also, the vee backings and adaptors are ace, as were the HS33 backings when I was stuck in the 90s using maguras 10 out of 10. Edit: Looks like they are wearing evvver so slightly quicker than my phat pads too.
