  1. So if I use a front 160mm caliper at the rear I will need a 140mm disc? If thats correct I rather use a +40 adaptor then a +20 one to use a 180mm disc on the rear. If you look at tartys the +40 adaptor moves the caliper on a diffrent/nicer way than the +20 one does. The +20 seams to move the caliper so far from the discmount on the frame while the +40 moves it more "up" rather than "out".
  2. Crap, why cant they do diffrent size calipers for every rotor. I think that an adaptor just weakens the break. I guess a 160mm rotor will be to small as a rear brake.
  3. But if I use a 200mm front caliper at the rear, will that work with 180mm rotor? Call me an idiot but I think this is weired and annoying!
  4. If you would like to go dual disc on a BT Raven 7.0 with a Zoo pitbull fork and you want to use 180mm rotors, do you have to use the Hope +20 adapter for the calipers or is there calipers that would fit right on. I would prefer not to use any adaptors if thats possible, and is there any diffrens between front and rear except that the levers are vice versa.
  5. Lovely handlebar! White fork would look cool and maybe a black stem, and the blue titanium bolts I told you about If you lived closer to me I would steel that handlebar from you

  9. Yeah, I have read alot of crap about them to but I took a chance and ordered this frame and its brilliant, realy nice work by them!
  10. Looks realy hot, or as we say it "skit snygg"
  11. Geo is: WB 1095 Cs 365-385 Bb +40 It cost me 225 euro plus 25 euro in shipping to Sweden.
  12. You by anyone knows that No its not, the frame and some of the parts is the same as on his bike so they kind of looks the same.
  13. My new Mielec Pro 44 Frame: Mielec Pro 44 Fork: Zoo Front hub: Echo Rear hub: Echo 116mm Rims: Zhi BB: Zhi Cranks: Zoo Freewheel: TryAll Pedal: Atomlab Stem: TryAll 130x20° Handlebar: Echo flatbar Rearbrake: Magura with Zoo pads Frontbrake: Shimano Deore Tires: TryAll
  14. Tarty gave me the measurments for the hubs. They would have helped me with spoke lenght if they could, but I got Zhi rims and they dont know the ERD for them. Now when I have the hub measurments and I measured the ERD my self (bit tricky to get that exact) I use DT spokecalculator and Im just fine. Seems like 264mm should work both sides, front and rear.
  15. Well, I dont have the hubs yet thats why I would like to know so I can order spokes. Dont know if I understand you, but if I want to know the diameter of the flange why should I measure it and the half it?
  16. What is the center to flange and flange diameter on the Echo front disc hub and the Echo fixed 20" hub?
  17. I got some alloy bolts laying around. I allready use some for the rear maggie but can I use them for the front disc and the steam to? I mean alot of the parts on the caliper are made of aluminium and are not very thick. And the stem clamp is made of aluminium and are not very thick either. Will the bolts realy snap?
  18. I have a wheel built up with DT competetion spokes (2.0-1.8-2.0). Now Im going to build a new wheel and wounder if the DT Revolution spokes (2.0-1.5-2.0) is good/strong. It will save some weight anyway but Im not sure if they are strong enough. Has anybody tried them?
  19. I had a wheel built by a local shop and I was not happy with it but I never complained about it. After that I bought some good tools and used that guide and started to build my own wheels. If you use that giude its not that hard, my first wheel turned out to be realy good. Just take the time and there will be no problem. Its actually realy fun building wheels, and a nice fealing knowing you can do all the work on your bike by your self.
  20. Will a shimano saint disc brake be any good as a front brake on a stock bike?
  21. I had the same problem to, I live in Sweden. But finaly I ordered my V!Z rear hub from Biketrialstation and it worked out great. Fast shipping and they are realy helpful and responds quickly to e-mail.
  22. Its not like the 06 Echo at all. The Echo rim was flat, the Zhi rim got a rise on it. A bit like the TryAll rim.
