  1. Couple of the sections from the Fort William comp.
  2. I actually kinda agree with Luke. I think maybe a set of Inspired forks on it might look a bit better with less rake? The Fattys are 50mm? @LEON will be able to tell us if you don't know. What I do appreciate though is, that the Fatty yellow is nearly matching the Maxxis yellow. How does the rear brake perform? Feeling a bit dull or does it bite/hold ok?
  3. As Mark says, its cool that you've held loads back. I know I struggle with that. Hello everyone, my names Ross and I release video clips too often. *Applauds* What blew my mind was the height of some of those bunny hops. Holey moley! The one up the rail off the slope was, well, it couldn't have been smoother. The many hop many lines I liked too. I've always liked hops up skinny things, so the black/yellow bollard line tickled my fancy. The hop over rail to pedal gap...Nice. Last drop looked massive but you seemed to make it look small, it was so smooth. Good work.
  4. I for one would like to see a Team Toast comp edit. Banging Techo tunes (no euro), explosions when kids land on bash plates, dolla signs on medals, gangsta glasses and joints on pushy parents faces when observers don't notice dabs, random interviews with stupid questions... Its all memes. I don't know why I like it but I do.
  5. That's a proper trophy bike. Sorry about the stem bt w. I have been thinking and I think ill keep it as its pretty rare. Came off a full build Hex, doesn't have any branding or anything on it, so it'll be good to keep by if I ever want it. I think it needs a front brake. Get a wee 180 disc on it. It'll need a higher front end for sure.
  6. I love G's approach. You have to be quick to catch his videos. Some people could take a lesson on the school of G videos and delete their own, they're so bad! Cutting his frames up is almost like letting go. I've got a bunch of Ashton frames in my cellar that "I will get round to building". Let go Ross, its not worth it.
  7. Thanks everyone. Its a beast of a machine. Bar is a Trial Tech Carbon and the stem is a Tryall K2. So far so good with the bars. I've broken one of the wee hoop clamps on the stem before but I like the look and geo of it so its staying. Oh, 25mm of carbon spacers ontop of the internal headset too, so its nice and high.
  8. I got some video clips on my go pro so ill post these up later on tonight, maybe. Would be cool if Cal and Mark got some pictures of this new site we are using on the 2nd of Oct...Drum up some interest. Sit bikes against rocks to gauge sizes of stuff etc. Its not that important but I know if I was organising it, id want people to know what they are coming to ride. Ill see what I can do regarding the older bunch.
  9. Thanks to everyone who came along to ride, observe and to lend a hand. Sections were great, if a little greasy in the river bed.. Looking forward to the next one!
  10. All sorts of awesome. Place looks great to ride. Bike is quiet, riding is smooth.
  11. If it makes you feel any better, I have to run washers on the back of my echo. Annoys the shit out of me. Edit. That reminds me, I have to sort out that tape on the back of my pads.
  12. Really? Didn't know that! I wonder why?
  13. Maybe not the best example of what you're after as those rocks are quite rounded and dry/grippy. Anything pointy and without a good amount of pressure in the tyres they do seem to squish down a fair bit but maybe that's more to do with the profile the tyres have on those skinny rims. I have however ran the tyres on wide rims and the characteristics are much the same. I don't like super hard tyres, so I just have to live with the odd pinch now and then. The one thing that does grate me is that the tyres unseat themselves pretty easily on these rims, so it can look like the wheel is buckled. Still, the contis are the best ive used.

Always carry your clothes in big plastic bags. Hahaha!
  15. He pumps his shocks full of skills.
  16. I have those same shoes. I only use them for sitting around in work, sack riding in them. So flimsy.
  17. Thought you might have taken off the tabs before having it sprayed?
  18. That pedalling thing he does after the first couple of up to front lines is so cool. On the first one when he bumps his back wheel - Yes! Liked the side hop at 0.57. The body and bike position is so stylish. The into front manuals he does are mega too.
  19. You do not please Internet Yoda with posting 3 pictures, all exactly the same.
  20. In case you didn't understand what they said, they said, "f**k, f**k, twat, fanny, shit, fanny, f**k, twat, fanny".
  21. I'll be showing face Saturday evening guys. Sorry I wont be on hand to help set up. Looking forward to it. Lets all do a sun dance.
  22. Touch children? Video was so f**king good.
  23. Aye, come on G. Why? Am I going to have to get the Dark Lord on your silly ass?
