  1. Yes you can camp onsite. I hope you enjoy that experience
  2. Few more gaps in those yet man! Like your choice of tools there. Nothing bad ever happened with a Stanley and a lighter. But yea, as above.
  3. Excellent work Gav! Frame finish looks cool too. Duck, Duck, Goose!!
  4. Looking good and happy to have helped! No clutch in the rear mech I take it?
  5. Digging that front wheel back wheel tap, James! Looks like you’re getting The hang of the bike now. Did tilting the bars back help a lot?
  6. Just handed my bits in to the LBS. 69er project is go.
  7. Amazing effort dude. Bike looks great! I will admit, as much as I enjoyed my Echo 24 DD, the distance between the wheels (not to be confused with wheel base) did feel massive. If I could ride one again, id run an Inspired element fork to bring the wheels closer together. Would love to see a few clips of you riding it?
  8. The "what if" can die in a fire. What if you hit it on a rock, what if you went outside, YOU MIGHT DIE!!
  9. That echo build and paint job is lovely! Never liked that style of mud guard with with Velcro or zip ties as the mud collects and wears the fork legs.
  10. I’ve been saving this for when I needed a reeeally big turd and it did not disappoint! The video was good too! There is only one Mike Thunder!
  11. First round of the 2023 competitions will kick off in Kinlochleven on the weekend of the 18th of March. I encourage you all to arrive on the Saturday to help in setting up the sections for the competition on the Sunday. Its in your best interests We usually camp/campervan/motorhome/hotel/cabin it up on the Saturday night with a meal and a Coca-Cola - winner stays on the pool table so get the 50p's ready. Ill figure out how to link the entry form here asap. 'The Mound' really is a great venue, suits all levels of rider and every type of bike... Here’s a great video Ali put together which should get you up to speed on what you need to know and gives a good idea on what the venue is like. This video proves you can use any bike!
  12. Very nice. From what ive heard, Inspired have been trying to pull off a chrome finish for a while but never pulled the plug. I think it looks great! Adding graphics to break it up helps.
  13. Did contemplate that! Now you’ve said it, it’ll need to be done.
  14. Ahh! Good to know. I’ve got a good Ti bb axle sitting waiting to be fitted and I was holding back. The good thing about the longer alloy echo bolts was they’re light. x2 shorter steel bolts might negate the weight saving using the Ti bb haha.
  15. Yep, at least 2 Ti echo bb axles.
  16. Awwww! I miss the headbanging in a field and the spins on a seriously heavy mod.
  17. That thing is such a Super Bike. May the trials gods bless you for going all out!
  18. That's an amazing resto-mod! One or two teeny pick ups would be that the cassette range seems a bit too wide. Would you ever use those spinny gears? Closer range would be lighter, look cleaner, allow you to run a shorter chain and feel nicer to click through between gears. Those orange warning stickers on the rotors don't need to be there and the dust cap on the front calliper needs popping back on Again, amazing job dude!
  19. National Trials Cup - Final round of the year Enter now for your chance to be super cool. https://www.store.fxn.global/events-1
  20. We love it though so its got to be done. I'm less of an experimental builder but more of a use-what-works-best-for-me type of builder and very close to finishing a project I've been working on.
  21. Swish! How are those rear/rims for grinds? I have one here and I'm dithering on whether to build that or an old trial tech rim up!
  22. Cant wait to see this. Is that a big 20mm axle on the front king? I take it you have a QR conversion in mind? Going to heat gun off the head badge? Smooth out those chain stays before paint too?
  23. Yes! Looking forward to seeing what you do with this
