  1. Hey does anyone have any Ali C vids? I tryed to get them off tarty but they dont seem to work.? Hope someone can help out I heard they are really good. Thanks
  2. Very true by the way i have the same opinion, Though it is also very good when his articals include riders he has met on his travels(like me)lol.Did you read the artical about him riding the skate park in Scotland before going to Fort William? Well Im the guy he talks about having the fried pizza!!! lol Just though I would add that because Im proud of that.
  3. Maybe the boy doesnt want a loud squeek and thats why he is asking if they have one????? sorry dont know anything about the koxx whites yet.
  4. Does anyone know the geo on the zoo! bars? Ok Ok they feel good but how many degrees does the upsweep have, and how much, if any, does the backsweep have??? Thanks
  5. Wouldnt it spark? ?or make it radioactive?? A suppose if it glowed green it would be pretty cool.
  6. Does anyone know how Danny McAskill was found? He doesnt like doing comps and its not as if he has had loads of vids on here, but of course the ones he has had are amazin!!!
  7. Watch a couple of Ryan Leeches vids (if you already haven't) then you might be persuaded to keep the forks!!! Then watch a coulpe of Benito Rosss vids then you might want to get a mod. Then watch a couple of Akriggs vids and you might want to keep the seat. Anyway my point is, why think you have to change all your parts to have a "trials bike"?? Just ride what you have just now hard and then as was stated earlier just replace things as they break for maybe something a little more trialsy if thats becoming your bag, baby.
  8. Hey, Who all here rides Tryall tyres? Are they any good?
  9. WWW.GLASGOWSTREETRIDERS.COM Its on its way to be rather good I think.
  10. Thanks for all the replies. I think I'll get one but there not in the country just now it seems to be. So the wait begins. MJ cycles said that they get there frames from select bikes, well the Aortas any way, and they seem to do a good deal with the frames. I'll get a free spare hanger and dvd and a derailleur. Has any body got any pics of there 26" Aortas to show off?
  11. Crap, don't tell me I will have to scour the web to find one of these bad boys???? I know Select Bikes do them but I think there out of stock just now.!!!! Anywhere else???
  12. Does anyone know what weight it is?? Thanks for that man Il be the same as you btw going fron a short old school Ashton to the Aorta and I like to do bunny hops and that kind of thing, how did you cope with that kind of style change or did your style change at all because of the bike??
  13. LOL, yea man theres always rides in Glasgow. We usually ride at the skate park for about half an hour to warm up and get everyone met up then go ride some natural or street whatever takes our fancy. Theres quite a few riders of all standards. Keep your eye on www.glasgowstreetriders.com its under contruction just now but will soon be full of new photos!!!!!!!!!
  14. Hey, I have just snapped my Ashton and I am considering getting an Aorta. Does any one know if they are any good? And by the way smarty pants the search doesnt seem to work for me dont know why!! Thanks
  15. Yip like bryan said, slippery when wet. I run afront 2.1 and noticed the side walls wearing a little. But there very light for their size and the red ones look no bad.
  16. 04 sarcen mad. disc mounts whipped off like a warm knife through butter. Major crack in my base where the top tube and seat stay met. Onza lite guys major cracks right on top of the welds of the four bolt mounts. (still using them!!!!)
  17. Yea the old ones are better imo because the insweep of the new ones hits my middle finger when I pull the brake, but the old ones have a better out sweep.
  18. No bother. Some people might say that zoo bars are streety but when you consider they are just using them to side hop and drop off stuff then thats not really steet is it?? I run the azonic double walls and they are soo good for riding street. I also run a 90mm stem I think with bout 15 degrees rise. The bars are 2.5 inch rise and the bike feels luvly. that should suit your giant perfectly. Should bunny hop really easy. Youll have to think where you put your steerer tube stackers though on top or below just have a play about and see what you like. Plus man a set of azonics and a hope stem will look lurvly well done.
  19. Hey. I have found that having a longer stem with less rise means that the front end of the bike is pulled up higher and the balance angle is much more upright, which means the frame will be pulled closer to your chest. This also means that when dropping it is easyer to hold up the front wheel when landing. imo. And when gapping you may find that there is more room to manouver the bike thus being able to throw your body further forward without hitting the bar making you able to gap further. But this doesnt mean that putting a metre long stem on will make you able to gap like Neil Tunniclife it just means that you wont be able to pull up on the bars to get to back wheel as easy. Haveing a shorter stem with a little rise will make things like spins and manuals easy because the bike is shorter and the weight of the bike is not as far forward. Having rise means that the balanceing point is already quite far up from the horizontal meaning you will be able to pull up toi back wheel easyer. It also means thaty your riding position is changed and when track standing your body is straighter which in my opinion is more comfortable!!! Again it all depends on riding preferance.eg natural, street, park, that kind of thing., And whether you want a big rise on you bars or not. But as you want Zoo's! then they dont have that much rise compaired to the likes of some downhill bars or jump bars which people like to use ase streety bars in trials. So to some up. as an average inbitweeny stem id go for a 15 degree rise and 100mm long
  20. Yea the sweep difference between the 2inch and 2.5 inch is what threw me off totally!! I had 2 inch DWs and 2.5 normals and the felt soo differnt and wonderd why, so thanks very much for backing my own thoughts up
  21. Yea man seen it on Chain reaction. Thanks for the help,I just thoght there might be a difference in the geometry of them( if I that can be said for bars) I do agree they do feel soooooo goooood! way better than Racefaces or Titec or Easton!!
  22. Mmmmmm......I already have the normal double walls jst wondering what the difference was between them two? I love my zonics to bits and dont really like the feel of the tryall bars and felt the zoos on ashtons bike and the just didnt feel right!! Does anyone know the difference??
  23. Hi, does anyone know the difference between the Azonic double wall bars and the Azonic double wall DWs? Apart from the price of corse... does one have more backsweep than the other or somthing?? please help.
