Its a Mk3 but I like to think of it as a Mk4 because I was so disappointed with the paint job it was released with after Ali and Martyn riding the protos with the same paint job as the Mk2s albeit with a new white (not red or black) colour way.
Welcome to the Mk1 owners club.
Its actually a Mk1 with the updated paint job. The first batch of Mk1s had the red and black triangles that didn't join over and under the top and down tubes.
Shame about the mangled forks Suit it so well.
Ill be keeping a weathered eye on this as I want to see this carbon saddle!!
Lets just say, a new rule (to the British Bike Trial Federation, Europe already had it) has been imposed which will give riders more protection from abusive observers.
Cheers for the great trial yesterday guys. Very well set up and demanding routes. Big power moves required and no pissin about with teeny narrow gates.
The day had a bit of a dampner on it because of the actions of one of the parents/observers. Feel free to ask what happened.
I find it better as its higher bottom bracket makes it more comfortable on the rear wheel. There is also more clearance for things like hooks having a higher bb. The bb height is 60mm compared to 25-35mm on those Inspired bikes.
The steep 74.5 head angle coupled with a long'ish wheelbase of 1060 gives a long reach, so when used with a short stem feels like how a "comp" bike would feel. I can go between this and my Echo 24" with no problems in adjusting.
Which part of the frame is that? Do you do lots of moves where the brake calliper is pulled away from the frame? As in, landing fakie with the brake on...
