I really like the look of those levers but just wish there was a stubby lever option with the finger hook! It'd look so much better mounted closer to the grip too

What's motivating you to do these Vlogs, Mike?

I think if I do get a dropper it'll be a cable actuated one. Is there pros and cons to having the cable snib (don't know what they call it?) at the lever end and the post end? The one thing that puts me off droppers is the play you get in them, if any. And the weight. And when I didn't have an internally routed set up, I didn't want the extra cable flapping around.

Question is, how much more superior is say, a Fox dropper compared to the likes of BrandX? Worth the extra?

Strong hand! CHOCOLATE FOOT! Also, never a truer word was spoken.

Cant think of anything that may have caused that other than someone sticking a screw driver in the hole to open the aperture to let a lost nipple fall out?

On a serious note. A lot of the time that kink is there to add space to the front triangle so a water bottle can fit. Yep. Fo real.

@monkeyseemonkeydo made one of those from an office desk chair.

Helps with routing of suspension seat post cables too. I know nothing of such things mind you...

Funny that. This video was brought to my attention by someone who's thinking of buying a pure trials bike. Take note comp scene. "Good videos" sell bikes.

Did I just watch Jack riding Shipley like he was on a BMX in a skate park?

Quite enjoyed the 26" finals. Although I think as a commentator, Andrei should remain impartial. I'm not talking about comments towards the riders, but more about comments about the minders...and even his colleague. Calling Dave Kerr, Wayne? What's that about? In joke? Got beef? Didn't sound like his fellow commentator was his best mate either..

Single move, single move, up to back out of hook, single move, 5, euro rage mode.

Was quite pleased with the side hop in this one. I'll get both wheels on the one side of the plantern next time! I called it side hop onto rail line practice.

Used or not, the ZEE has two extra pots over the others you have listed. So on paper the ZEE would be the obvious choice. Did someone Hiiiiiiiiiya!! your common sense?
-
Sorry, I should have been more clear. The bike looks too short for the rider. I gave my Vader to @Paperclip

Jesus. How much landing on your bashring are you doing? Or is this big drops to flat?
-
I was going to mention this too. I tend to go for the known thicker discs to get faster pad contact and less lever travel. I like my levers to bite quick and at the same distance away from the bar, so as to not contact the back of my middle finger. Obviously there's tool assisted lever adjusters there to fine tune too. SHIMANO.

I ran the SLX for a little while before going to SRAM XO. I filed the chain ring tabs down a bit as well as filing off the bash guard tabs and found no issues. Where did the BB crack? I know some folk run the Shimano Saint 83mm DH version of the BB cups as the drive side has more threads. So if you have chain ring clearance issues, you can run 3 spacers without the fear of stripping the little amount of threads contacting the frame. Its also a good idea to run the dust cover between the cups (I usually removed it, to save weight. Trials init). Keeping it in, not only stops crap getting into the inside of the cups but it holds the cups more plumb under pedalling (BC'ing) forces.

That bike looks painfully short.

Shimano man myself. ZEE on the front with EBC red pads. Saint M810 on the back (fingers crossed it lasts a while longer!) with the same pads (or are they TrialTech, cant remember) The one thing I like about the Shimanos is the pad clearance. They run a "servo wave" arrangement where the lever pull ratio "ramps up" as you pull, supposedly delivering more power the more you pull it. #1 Essentially this means the pads are able to sit further away from the disc...Unlike the Maguras, where, I've been told, that any slight bend in the rotor creates pad rub. #2 Essentially this means, if you side hop to the left, yer f**ked. Especially if you're @Rory Semple
