    Get 1

The "golden era" ran between Porter riding trials and not.
  2. Yea, that did cross my mind re. the tools. Same goes with his brother wearing safety gloves for riding. Looking out for a glove/clothing sponsor possibly?
  3. Aye, I get a good laugh at his stuff too. He does really well to get as many videos out per week as he does. A lot of it is just chewing gum for the eyes but on cold wet dark nights after work they're good to watch.
  4. Question is... If you do sit down wheelies, do you void your warranty?
  5. Bet its light with those tyres on! Looks great.
  6. I think smooth rims are one for rose tinted glasses. Id much prefer something that can be used in all conditions.
  7. My question would be, if it was to skip, does the next pawl engage? If it did, then the movement of the cranks isn't going to be drastic enough for you to slip a pedal and give yourself a shin'r. Unlike Kings, when if it skips its like getting to the top of a set of stairs and expecting another step.
  8. If you can make a vlog about riding one or two mossy logs, you wont go far wrong up at the park for decent lines.
  9. The Ali C sponsored Tree Section. I'm actually surprised Ali, that you've not vloged the trials park at Bob MacGregors! For those not in the know.. Glasgow Trials Park
  10. Good to see wee Finn Johnstones face up there representing us trials lot. For those of you who don't know, Finns Dad David, plays a big part in the Scottish and British comp scene.
  11. You've got a trials bike, anything is readable.
  12. Hes riding the prototype here. Listen to the commentator, “next they’ll be doing bmx tricks”. Cue John Langois..
  13. Instagram says different.
  14. Do you feel the benefit of how smooth that Chris King is landing side hops? Pretty serious bling for the front of a 20" trials bike, that's for sure. All the young guns will be like, what dem bars m8?
  15. So had a little chat with Ed, posed a question, here’s his answer. This my friends, is the source of The Nile.
  16. Not only were Leeson making 24” bikes around that same time, they had pegs on the rear wheel too! So ahead of their time it hasn’t even happened yet. I can remember the MBUK it was featured in like it was yesterday. My recollection of Danny starting with Inspired and riding 24, was after him riding, Leeds(?) Newcastle(?) on his pure and Dave approaching him already with that Fourplay proto. As for me, I approached Marino because I was snapping my ET frames all the time - had two back in the day, and asked him to build something similar and I hoped it’d be stronger!(it was)
  17. And a disc mount with no chain stay/seat stay brace! Yea, I'm not saying Ashton Bikes was the first ever to have a 24" trials bike, just the route they took to getting to the ET frame.
  18. I can remember hearing that Ed and Ashton tried a set of 24" wheels on a Pashley Mhz and because it was so fun, the idea of the dedicated 24" was born. I was trying to find the Buthiers footage of Staples riding the first fourplay proto... Anyone know where to find it?
  19. No worries. I wonder how much truth is in some of those statements. The Dave Cleaver one in particular.
