  1. Ok, if you can get one when they come out that would be good because then you know there aint going to be a couple of thousand people with same bike as you. What magazine was it? ill check the website and see if there are any pictures.
  2. No bother glad to help. Just scoured the whole internet looking for the 2007 fueler but it doesnt seem to exist, even on the GT hompage. Have you seen one somewhere?
  3. That is the picture of the 2006 GT fueler. Dont know about the 2007 range ill look into it for you though.
  4. Depends on how much you are willing to spend?. I run a hope freeridestem( 0 rise, 50mm)which is stiff and light, the best stem iv ever had. These usualy cost around £55 depending on where you buy from but it will probably be the last stem you will buy, due to hopes reputation for building some of the best hardware on the market.
  5. Yeah the 2006 fueler is a nice bike and not to bad a price aswell. No DO NOT GET A GYRO. I only run a back brake on my dmr because you dont need a front brake for dirt jumping. Gyros are a waste of money because they are flimsy as hell and brake every time you crash and for a good one its quite expensive. The fueler you want only comes with a rear brake so just make sure the cables long enough to pull double bar spins and you shouldnt have any problems.
  6. Just making sure. Yeah i do some dirt jumping aswell, iv got a dmr. Not as much fun as trials though because in dirt jumping it gets a bit stale if you have only one place to go,where as in trials you can ride anywhere you feel like. What sort of information were you loking for on bmxs?
  7. Welcome to the forum. Dont post up anything about buying or selling. Read the red box. Im here to talk about bikes(trials in particular), to learn new things and just meet more people that like the same sort of things as me.
  8. Just trying what court suggested now. I already installed new ones off an old magura(only used 3 times)but it still does the same thing. Maybe a new set of brakes is in order if none of these idea work. Hope not.
  9. Check ebay, theres alway cheap mod bikes for sale new and second hand. Prices vary from a couple of pound up to a couple of thousand. Just depends on the sort of spec you want on your bike.
  10. yeah thats perfect. just make sure you tension the chain up and not down or the chain will start slipping round on the freewheel.
  11. that is possible because the dmr guys run them on their dirt jumping bikes. what are you going to run for chain tension though?
  12. dont know about the rest of you but this post has been going since 9oclock this morning and im sick of it already. i know im prety new to the forum but i didnt feel the need to put some crappy text in the bottom of my page, its just childish, simons just trying to get his point of view across that him and the best part of the people on this forum joined to talk and share information about bikes. NOT SENDING RUBBISH beetween each other, thats what msns there for.
  13. some times but not much, because i dont run my brakes super tight, only about half pull.
  14. its just you, if you look closely the bikes just sitting at a wierd angle.
  15. thanks for the info but iv actualy already tried this. i tried lubing them and cleaning them but for some reason the damn things still stick on one side. i also bled the rear with water thinking it might be the oil i was using, the brake now feels buttery smooth but its still rubbing.
  16. 2001 pashley. 2001 pashley frame sky blue pasley forks in blue mavic d521cd on a hope xc disc blue front, drilled mavic d521cd on a xc ti red rear middleburn pro trials cranks, blue bash guard xtr bottom bracket black magura hs33 with cncd boosters and monty pads atomlab 14mm trailpimp pedals hope headset, blue hope stem, black tioga bars, black shimano ultegra rear mech, xtr chain tioga dh tyres with maxxis dh inner tubes.
  17. sorry if this question has been asked before guys. ever since iv had my maguras one side of the brakes always seems to lock its self out. both front and rear brakes do this. i have bled both of them a number of times thinking it might be a blockage in the piston but after i set the brakes up the piston just jams its self out again. could this be due to the fact that the main hose only runs to one side of the brake?would buyind a t-piece and running the cable to both pistons help to stop my brakes doing this? any help/info would be much appreciated.
  18. i knew i wasnt the only one that had this sort of problem. i also ride a pashley. the reason the frame flexes so bad is because there are no gussets, bars, yokes or any sort of strenghthening welds neer the brake bosses. i run an old hs33 on the rear with two brake boosters and this eliminates most of the flex from the frame but not all of it. since you are running a v-brake i presume your not running a booster, if you have the brake set up perfect on both sides and it is still flexing try and find one of those horse shoe boosters that bmx riders use, these fit underneath the brake bosses and should sort out any flexing. if this still doesnt work maybe you should consider talking to one of yopur local welders and get some gussets welded around the brake bosses. hope this helps.
  19. not realy to botherd about distance, its all about riding. i was concidering jumping on the eurostar and going to ride some of northern france aswell but dont know how many are up for a trip like that. has anybody ridden any areas of france?
  20. thanks very much guys, the more places the better. hopefully should be going sometime in july.bristol, london and porthcawl are sounding like some of the best spots to ride. maybe il be able to organise a spot to meet some of you between here and there to go riding.
  21. hey me and some of the local riders in inverness are intrested in taking a road trip around some parts of the uk this summer.i was just wondering about what places we should go to, maybe meet some of you guys along the way and go for a session.
  22. thanks very much for the info il give it some more thought, but the echos are probably the forks im going to buy.
  23. im wanting to get some new forks for my pashley 26mhz. im riding pashley forks at the moment but they make the front end feel a bit to low when im riding street. was concidering these forks; leeson 360s, pace rc32s or echo urbans. any info on these forks would be extremely helpful and aswell as other fork suggestions.
  24. spot on. nobody around my area seems to care to much what size bike youv got its what you can do on it that counts. there are are stock riders about that are more agile on there bikes than mod riders and vice versa. the way i see it is that it doesnt matter what bike anyone has its always going to be about the level of skill the rider has never the size of there wheels.
  25. what sort of wheels/hubs are you talkin about?
