  1. Hi, I am in Retford too.. I just started riding, I work quite a lot so not having much time to practice but I am gradually getting better. So far I've found a few reasonable places but nothing great - just the odd wall/drops, no real sections. Ive not explored that much yet though, and a lot of things that have potential are out of my league at the moment.. Have you found anything? There was a bit near the old Netto that somebody had set up, but I think that might be out of bounds now. If you're interesting in going out for a ride sometime let me know as I dont know anyone into trials yet. Cheers, Greg.
  2. Personally I'd consider looking at what's available second-hand. Obviously there is more variety and you'll have to have a detailed look at the bike to make sure it's genuine - but you will for the most part get a better bike for it, and also if you do decide trials isnt for you you shouldnt lose too much money. Cheers, Greg.
  3. Hello and welcome. Does JE James in Rotherham have much/any trials stuff? I used to go in quite often around 10 years ago and they always had a good selection of MTB's, although this was before trials got 'big'. Do fancy going for a look around again.. Cheers, Greg.
  4. Mainly Metal (particularly early/mid 90's Black and Death Metal) Also.. Dark Ambient, Industrial, IDM, Breaks, House, Trip Hop, Classical, 80's Pop etc etc.
  5. I think there are some riders from Bawtry (ie not far from Donny) on here - not seen them about for a while though. I am in Retford which isnt a million miles away (20 or so) but I am not up to much of a standard yet. Cheers, Greg.
  6. I've been listening to the newest Enslaved album a fair amount recently - still prefer their older stuff though. Other bands I've been listening to a bit recently are: Architects Khoma Threat Signal Amon Tobin Anaal Nathrakh Freestylers Prodigy Cheers..
