  1. Yes I do. It was stated Down the page. When you weld material you change the grain structure. When you weld a high grade alloy that's heat treated you have to re heat treat the frame to get the material to be the same throughout. So having a alloy frame welded, the material becomes softer around the weld. I understand that the carbon reinforces the joint and stiffens up the frame,I don't have any problems with that. What testing has been done on the durability on this bonding? Is there any actual tensile strength testing? Bond strength? I know that carbon is used with other bikes. They are moulded, have different carbon weaves to suit the stresses of the frame, not just a sheet of wet lay carbon. Where are the full carbon trials frames? Theres one,the m5. Looking at pictures the carbon lay looks good With the stresses of a trials frame, taps and hooks etc,it would be interesting to see how long until the glue brakes down and starts to separate. Remember the old double wall azonic bars, when the grip tube where glued? The glue broke and the bars fly shit, the forks with steel steerer? I've broken the bond in them many times. As I said it would be good to see the long term durability, but at what cost? The frames are cheap, possible medical bills from a unproven technique. Just mentioning my concerns,no need for all your hate. I suppose the years of welding, fitting and machining make me have no idea about things
  2. My old try's all bb did the same thing. Changed to a trialtech and haven't had any issues. I'm my case the bb cups were slightly smaller. I measured them up with verniers and checked the diameters and thread pitches, all the stuff you check when you suspect with sketch threads. Still using the frame and the bb I put in. That was quite awhile ago
  3. You must be really brave or really stupid(don't take it the wrong way) It would be a big gamble riding a frame that has been that distoryed. Good luck hopefully it lasts and doesn't fail at an inappropriate moment.
  4. Considering normal jump forks are 485 mm there's not a lot of difference using 435mm forks. Yes it changes your HA,lucky to be 1-2 degrees though. I do have and run fattys so my 390 is a valid.

    Tgs Or Not

As stated above, natty improves your tgs. It helps set up,if you can set up on a pointy rock and hold back wheel, then setting up on a flat wall is easy. Personally I cannot stand tgs, however when half the guys I ride with don't ride natty I'm forced into tgs.
  6. The rebate fork have a 435 crown height. Normal trials forks are 390-415 so not a lot of difference
  7. I can sidehop a lot higher then I can static jump. I agree with Ali side hops a boring, I don't know how people can go out and only try side hops. Natural trials is much better, it's at least the roots of the sport
  8. some geo changes are good. every brand being sheep and following what everyones else is doing sucks. its hard to get a prper trials frame with a low bb these days.
  9. I agree that you can't really tell the difference,I just like the look of smaller tubes and smaller welds
  10. Interesting. Wonder how long until they bring one out? My hex is starting to crack,I wonder should I wait or replace it with the new hex, wasn't that released at euro bike? Does any one have any info on this?
  11. With the cromo inspired, it's going to have a lot of testing before they can prove it's suitablee for the general public. They are just releasing the new hex( hopefully very soon, my hex is starting to crack) Since the hex is coming they won't release anything for a while
  12. Wish you give us more info then that Ali. Understandably you cannot, we just have to play the waiting game. Hopefully it's not a super long wait.
  13. That sums me up. I do weigh 112kg,I'm 6 foot 3. I'm rather strong and make my stuff work. I should clarify a little, on my trials bike I've been running tnn protos and on my park bike I run crome forks. So I'm used to a fairly stiff set up. So anything under that that flexes is flexy. I understand your comment about why do I keep using inspired forks even though I've broken them. The disc mount crack if happens, the bent forks where from a sketchy 180 drop for shoulder height with a sketch landing. They are good for street trials and park riding, as I said for natty they are horrible. Coming from my current set up which doesn't flex at all. How do you think I'm doing wrong because I'm braking trialtech forks? The first gen were the best, they lasted me 2 years. Current models ain't so good, I broke the steer tube, cracked the 4 bolt mounts on 3 sets. Clearly a design fault. I still used trial tech forks because they were the strongest on the market. I tried koxx forks(lasted 1 month) I had to tame down my riding to make forks last, till I got my tnn. I ride a lot of natty(I mean a lot) my training ground it where they have one of the biggest 4x4 crawler event in oz. there is a lot of big gaps to hooks, alot of steep decents to gaps, big up to fronts, lots of good taps etc. so every ride I punish my forks,it's just a matter of time. I think the biggest factor is my size and the amount of time I ride(3-4 days a week) Currently injured ATM, hasmd a sweet crash that distroyed my wrist tendons I just wish a company would make components that suit my aggressive style.
  14. how long have you been riding he inspired forks? what level of riding do you ride at? what styyle of riding have you used them at to say they dont flex? they are super flexy. myself, i have been through 2 sets of inspired forks and currebtly on my 3rd, 1st set bent, 2nd set cracked at disc mount, current set are about 6 months old. since i have had multiple set i can confirm that they all flex the same amount. trialtech forks are rather stiff, the tnn forks will be stiff(nearly as stiff as fattys) ive used my inspired forks for street style and park riding, they are amazing for this riding because the flex actually cushions hard landing and big hits. for natural trials they are terrible, they flex all over the place, most noticeable when doing steep decents under heavy braking, makes the stopping harder, also have had them flex outwards when seting up on rocks that fit between the wheels. when hopping on the rear wheel you can see them flex. so as you can see my experience with inspired forks show they are flexy. the reason i still run them? currently there is no fork with a strong enough steertube to crown junction. ive broke many of steel bonded to alloy forks, i have killed a few set of the trialtech forks as well. this is why i cannot wait for the tnn forks to be released
  15. I wouldn't use inspired forks for trials, not because they are heavy, but they are super flexy. When rolling down a steep rock under brakes they move a hell of a lot. If they were stiffer I'd be running them
  16. My tensile snapped in 2 weeks. Get a echo and be done with it. My last echo lasted 2 years before it broke
  17. He is current Australian unicycle trials champion. This video is out dated now. He is epic these days
  18. Johnny at ride it all is a stand up guy. I've gotten many things from him,had no issues. Really good guy. You do know the shop is in Australia?
  19. I emailed both aspire and king, they said nothing ATM,tHey have something in the works but no eta. It's Intresting because in one of the manuals I got the front hub has fun bolts. I ended up using a 20mm hope front(good deal) so I made up my own 20mm to 10mm axle. So far it's worked amazing and trouble free
  20. Not sure if they will work with a disc mount
  21. Will they actually send items that people order? Or will he keep the money again and ignore everyone's emails????
  22. Does It fit middle burns? Has the strength of the outershell ben redesigned? Just asking because I had 2 tensile fw break after 2 weeks each
  23. lgm pad on echo tr rims are epic.best combo ive ever used
  24. Love these frames.they need to make more frames with similar geo
  25. There was some good lines in that video, some not so great. I think you need to work on landing your stair gaps better if you are continuing to do them, need to work on 360s- I saw that little kick in there. Would be nicer to roll into it. Also most everything else was sick man.keep it up
