  1. I was browsing my local trials forum and I found this: Thick spindle, wide needle bearings.... Hope they will make isis model and start selling them soon.
  2. Ok I've found answer myself. If anybody needed, there are few: echo team - 120mm gu typhon - 110mm zoo python - 100mm have a good day
  3. Hello, Do you know what are leghts of headtubes in modern trials frames (like xtp/hifi/control/team/python etc)? I know it is something between 100-120mm but I need the exact lenghts. Cheers, Zordon
  4. If those "superlight" forks had been actually superlight, they would have given the exact weight on their site. I hate companies claiming their products are light and not giving any proof of that

    Joe Oakley Vid 7

well done Joe, very good vid :] by the way - why did you stop using rear disc?
  6. Regarding Ruthless bike disc system, why was it withdrawn?
  7. But I would choose Xtr lever because it has more in my opinion more comfy lever blade. I'm used to magura levers and Xtr lever blade feels similar to Magura. Avid blades are more sharp and therefore not so comfy.
  8. Truvativ - yes but only Gigapipe Team DH. I used it for over one year and it has never come loose nor rounded off. Just make sure to use a proper tool while installing/removing the bb and will be fine.
  9. I have an idea. When disc is on normal position - disc adapter (I mean avid bb7 disc adapter) is mounted on the inner side of dropout (between dropouts). So if I mounted it outside - the caliper would be way off too probably would match the position of disc mounted on king. Maybe it wouldn't match perfectly but I could correct it by using spacers on disc or adaptor. But is it possible to mount avid adaptor this way? Thanks
  10. I don't ask you if it can be done, because it can. My mate already ordered such a thing from Aspirevelotech but he will try to make disc adapter to use rear disc in GU (which is non-disc). I'd like to use disc-ready frame that's why I ask Profile isn't option for me as I suffer from "pawl-o-phobia"
  11. Hi, I want to buy rear CK Bmx hub with replaced shell (IsoDisc) but I heard in this case disc will be way off. So I need to know whether anyone here uses it with rear disc and if there are any problems related to that. Thanks, Zordon
  12. Sorry, I meant British not only English
  13. I think you English guys have better built cities. They consist of lots of rails, walls and other street stuff - more than anywhere else I've seen ever. Not only do big cities have all that stuff - I lived in quite small UK city Gravesend in Kent and there were rails, walls with full choice of height really EVERYWHERE. I think it is the key. In Poland our cities are built in other way so it's harder to find a proper place to ride.
  14. http://www.cleanbikes.co.uk/Pages%20-%20Mo...nty%20About.htm "In Itadori, Japan, BikeTrial is considered the national sport" :]
  15. Last summer holidays I worked at Co-op warehouses in Kent county. First one was damn cold (chilled environment for meat, milk products etc.) and there was always not much job. The second was much better (chocolate and drinks) and I worked 19 days without any free day but I liked it - wages were above +21 national minimum . When I'm not abroad I make photos and movies on weddings - very good job, not so well paid though. Now I receive some cash from my university as a reward for good results. Over one month ago I started to try earning money via Internet on hyip and autosurf arena (e.g. 12dailypro). All the sources above should make me able to buy very decent parts for my mod I hope to complete at the beginning of spring.
  16. If it's possible to replace ck bmx shell with classic one, then is it also possible to replace bmx with iso disc shell?
  17. I'm sure I sam him on some competition movie about 1,5-2 years ago. He was riding mod, probably levelboss.
  18. Soft material I mean is weak for threads but generally their frames are strong. Maybe because they just give more material to compensate material quality. Generally I'm against post mount with helicoil 'cause there is still possible to damage the frame. It's easier and cheaper to replace broken adaptor than to replace whole frame or dropout only. Davetrials: Yeah Megamo Equip Pro was always my dream. I'm gonna steal from its design the additional tubing :]
  19. Post mount would be good but I know the factory uses quite soft material not too suitable for threads the post mount require to be made in frame.
  20. In future I'm going to buy custom frame with disc mount. Mod frame. I want to put avid BB7 203mm on the rear. But I heard a lot of bad situations when disc mount/dropout/whole chainstays were torn away. My intention is to make a possibly strongest design capable to survive with rear disc brake at least one year of riding. I've already got few ideas and want to know your opinion. 1. As I wrote above I'm planning to use 203mm disc. Standard frame mounts are for 160mm disc. Putting 203mm with +40mm adaptor would create much more leverage to the disc mount and cause lot of stress there (I think). So my idea is to buy a 160mm FRONT caliper (which on rear is like 140mm, am I right?) and to order +60mm disc mount. This IMO would create much less leverage and stress to the mount. What do you think? 2. As a mod frame, it will have horizontal dropouts. It means the chainstays won't have fixed length all the time because chain during usage streches and to have it stiff enough I will have to put the wheel constantly further from bb. This will change position of caliper to disc and problem may occur (pads will not fully in contact with disc or disc may even rub caliper). My aim there is to make disc mount so the caliper will be perfectly parallel to horizontal dropouts. This IMO should minimize effects of chain streching and therefore changing position of caliper to disc. I saw the modern disc frames like Monty or Vinco mods have similar solution but I don't know whether they have it because of chain streching or something other. 3. Would it be choosing one piece BB + CNC much better than standard CNC yoke welded to BB shell in terms of using rear disc brake? Did many frames crack there? If you have any other tips I would appreciate it very much :) Thanks, Zordon PS.: Oh, I forgot that I'm gonna have one piece dropout+mount= integrated disc mount, of course.

Gaz M: I don't know why, but maybe he just used to levelboss or xtps are too weak for him (Y) I don't know exactly how much it would be for custom colour incase a mod frame but I found that for basic stock frame custom colour paint from RAL palette costs 30PLN=6GBP and special paint using aerograph (like that) costs 75PLN=12,5GBP. Polishing is for 90PLN=15GBP. Also probably you will get free of charge any custom inscription engraved on upper plate near headtube (click) Shipping price.... you should contact the factory for details. I know there are 2 options - standard postage and courier company (like DHL, UPS etc.). Weight of frame with box shoudn't excess 3kgs so I estimate the shipping price (Polish National Post Office) would be 10-16GBP (10 for standard 14 day delivery and 16 for 3-5 days priority package). But better you'd contact them and ask.

Check their website - trial section And try also Polish language version - it's more up to date, mods are on the bottom. Cost depends on your choice - as you can see they offer few types of mod frames but you can order whatever you want - your own geometry, type of tubing, colour, double cnc (bottom and upper), booster welded into frame etc. Recently they also started adding one piece bb shell and cnc yoke but it cost more (about 20-30 pounds), you can see example here. Full price of frame should around 700-1000 Polish zlotys (PLN). One british pound (GBP) is about 6 PLN, so 1 PLN=0,16 GBP and then the price of ordered frame should be around 110-160 pounds. I don't know whether it includes postage price or not. Hope that helps a bit (Y)
