Hopefully it will heal pretty quickly so i can get out riding again. Can anyone recomend any good shin pads, which are fairly cheap and dont have the knee protection, cheers steve

Whilst tapping up a small wall in Cleethorpes on Saturday, my foot slipped off the pedal and this is the result, Required 4 stitches and the doctor said it was allmost at the bone, best part is that i didn't really hit the pedal hard just slipped down it. Oh well didnt really feel it untill a day or so later, Think shin pads may be the way forward

Hello i'm new to the forum. I used to ride then gave up for a few years while at uni got back into riding about a year ago and haven't looked back since. I ride mainly in Grimsby and Cleethorpes and occasionally Skeggness and Lincoln, work permitting. Bike spec: Koxx Level Boss 26" Echo Urban forks Burns Try-all bars and Fsa stem Maguras all round.
