  1. i have seen a base ta26 run with 24s as im only a pre member i cant ask how it feels. I would quite like to give it a try, therefore a have a few questions: 1. what will it feel like with a 20mm bb drop 2. can someone make me adaptors fro the brake, or send me a plan? 3. has anyone got any views on why i should or shouldnt do this. cheers all help apreciated.
  2. I was looking at the Monty no. 2 post and noticed that he is running a monty urban stem with a nice looking rise. I found the stem at clean bikes, was just wondering what experiences people had had with them (delivery etc.) cheers
  3. my front end feels really low, i'm reasonably new to my trials and this style of bike. My friend said that the front is to low, however when i look at complete bikes they seem to have similar front end hights. I have a Base ta26 with a low rise stem and 1 inch rise bars, with no spacers (as the steerer is to short) any help and veiws on this would be much appreciated cheers
  4. try and avoid the giro semi as it doesnt sit well on my head.
  5. joes forks are not bent!!! so no no one has bent or snapped a pair that i know of.
  6. steerer is stupidly short so its not really an option

  9. ahhh im the only stock rider in our little group (im the only one who rides a real mans bike ) i currently run race face evolve DH bars which are oversized (31.8) but they only have 1 inch rise. this is why i was wondering about a taller stem. Cheers for all help so far
  10. I have been thinking and have come up with an idea. Maybe there should be a reviews thread. This way all reviews could be together and easyer to find etc. I don't no if this has been tried before but..its just a thought.
  11. errm where do i get 2 inch rise trials bars?? :$
  12. is 10 degrees the most you would all go for? I run a base ta26 and find the front end really low.

  15. hi i recently got a BT bottom bracket after my old one well and truley lost its bearings to a years worth of grit. I got the bottom bracket and it looked really good (as far as bottom brackets go) with large spacers ether side of the axel making it look good and burly. anyway the axel is very stiff and the bearings are still running really smoothly after a months use. I found the design of the bottom bracket really good as it uses a spacer that fits on the drive side thread to vary wether the shell is 73mm or 68mm. All in all I would recomend this bottom bracket it seems to me its going to last a fair while. Here it is if anyone is intrested. http://82.110.105.16/tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=406 hope this is helpfull tom
  16. hey joe i recon you should get the try all snail cams from tarty as they are blacdk and will go with your frame. Unless there are gold ones somewhere...... http://82.110.105.16/tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=34 then get them.
  17. hi everyone, i have decided to make my riding more streety but I feel that to do this i will need a new stem with a bit more rise and a little shorter. my current stem is 5 degree rise and around 110mm long wich makes manuals etc. hard. any opinions on lengths and which stem is good to go with would be much apreciated cheers tom
