Who said anything about making the bike lighter? Chill bro's... He had to much spare time on his hands, at work, and did a few good quality mods on his bike for the loks of it. If he would have went in only for the weight loss, he would have dumped the rear tryall tire, the steel screw at the dropout and more like that. So, consider only the looks of it. Cheers

Very nice looking bike, but i'm abit worried about the wholes you drilled in the steerer tube, on the fork. ive made a little test (urban 07, 26" geometry, 6061, 100N) that shows that the upper whole got 50%off the resistance of the fork. (I'm a rookie in COSMOS, and the results are only for comparision between the not drilled fork and the drilled one. took independently, the tests are not accurate). Un Drilled Fork: Drilled fork. you cand see maximum stress area (RED) in the upper hole. -50%
