You wont get a proper xp install disk. Just a recovery disk. If not you will have to go back and demand one.

If its a pc world pc it should come with a 'restore' cd that will restore all the software to how it was when he bought it.

Put his hard disk in your computer Backup anything he needs Put hard disk back in his computer Fresh install of windows Fixes everything :closedeyes: and is usually quicker than trying to recover a crippled OS.

Exact same as installing a network card. And im sure tomm could tell you where to get the drivers or even supply you with the cd.

It should work fine yea its just a case of removing a blanking plate and whanging it in the slot then installing the drivers :P No problem its all part of the service :P

Looked it up on the asus site and it states it has 6 channel audio yet the motherboard only has mic/linein/spr :closedeyes: Odd. Maybe it only supports 6 channel with the optional digital bracket :- EDIT: Found a review and it seams only the next model up has 6 channel. Your best bet is probably to buy that soundcard off tomm :P

That sounds like speaker/mic/line in :closedeyes: Sounds like you need either an adaptor to put the f+r into one plug or a 4.1/5.1 soundcard :-

Why dont you have a wire going into the rear input on the back of the sub? You should have green and black going into the sub and the computer. No wonder you dont have all 4 working if you aint got anything plugged into the black rear socket :closedeyes: I had those exact speakers. If you have nforce audio you should have a control panel like the following to change your speaker setup....

Competition is driving prices down thats all. They could just make it cheaper for existing customers but that would mean they get less money :huh: so they just give u a faster service instead so you still pay them the same.
