I was only basing my comment on comparison to the 2.5 T5 Volvo lump in my ST. They make 320bhp/400ftlbs (220bhp/230ftlbs standard) with standard bolts ons but 340 is about the limit with the standard turbo. The RS engines make up to about 420bhp/440ftlbs (different turbo and internals). The S3 certainly does sound like good fun though. Do you run into any issues with the 4wd system at those kind of power levels?

The interviews are still a train wreck. The rest of the show is enjoyable. Extra gear is quite good too.

Whats the lag like with those? is it not only a 2.0l?

I know from my focus a ford minor service is only oil and oil filter. Thing is its been serviced by ford the past 4 years yet the air filter i removed was a non genuine mann filter.

Fiesta bought from a main dealer 8 months and less than 1000 miles ago. Was 'serviced' before we got it. Felt really flat and had no power so I took a look at the filter: Revs so much better now.

My B16 was magic and never used any oil. That had about 120k in it.

I asked my local ford dealer for a quote on an additional key for a fiesta and was quoted about £250. From what i read Timpson are about £100 and clone your existing key rather than coding the new key to the car. Some second hand keys can be reprogrammed and others not so be careful going that route. With ford you have to have at least 2 working keys to program another without requiring a computer.

Lets be honest... even if it was superb people would still hate it. Theres of a lot of people hating on it just 'because'. Evans needs to calm down and stop trying to be Clarkson and put his own spin on things. Give it a few episodes and i hope it will settle down into something better. I hope Chris Harris isn't banished to Extra Gear only (the Sabine segment should have been on the main show). They also assumed everyone was up to date with everything on the internet, no introduction of the new presenters etc.

Its never used on track just lots of bumpy back roads. Ive just been reading various mini forums and a lot of people don't recommend RARB for road use due to their tendency to cause oversteer. Damping, camber, caster. height, toe are all adjustable if required. I'll see if i can dig out the geo settings tonight from when i had it done.

Suspension People... When putting the power down in the mini coming over of a corner it likes to spin the inside front wheel up. Obviously an LSD would help matters but they cost a fortune. What suspension tweaks would help matters? Would a rear ARB aid matters?
