chrishayton
ok then so for my first bit of advice......reccomend me a 20" for under £800or should I go for a new 26"???currently I got a crappy little 20"......was thinking of a T lite or koxx???as for 26" I look the look of the Limey???so many toys you lot are spoilt for choice nowadays..........I used to use a Canondale f800 cad 3 small!!!and it even had a seat!!!!!!limeys are one of the nicest riding bikes around, but your likely to be used to short bikes as you havent been riding for a while, basically long bikes are great, backwheel balence is greatly improved as are moves such as taps( hit the front wheel on the wall whilst riding towards it and use it to propell you to the top) sidehops( explantary) and gaps. but moves like bunnyhops and manuals suffer. you may be better with a mid length bike such as an ashton or a 1065 Echo control. the choice is yours. Id steer clear on high bb bikes such as GU, Echo HIFI etc, bb height of +30mm would be the max if i was you.If you decide to buy a long bike 1070+wb then you will adjust to it and your riding will improve but its likely to feel weird for a week or two. if you decide to go for a limey then well done, they ride amazingly well but the feel huge due to huge wb 1090 and a steeper headangle than most longbikes so the reach will be increased. my sugestion is to go on a ride ( look in the rides section of the forum) and go and ask a few people for a quick go on their bike, most people will be happy too so dont worry about asking. if you like the frame ask them about the geometry and then it ll make choosing a new bike so much easyier for you.
