club_card
If Your looking for the best quality video i would look at minidv cameras rather than SD ones for that price range.I think canon do some good minidv cameras for under 200 quid. You will need a firewire port on your pc to import video from a dv camera though. RossMcd
That is the camera I have and I love it!! It works perfect on sony vegas movie studio 9. And the picture is really good in my opinion! My 8gb memory card takes like 3 hours of constant footage! I have found no faults with it and Id Highly recommend it! Jonny Jones
I always used to say MiniDV... but as of this moment in time I am despising MiniDV cameras (probably because I've just had to capture/digitise near enough 140 full 60min tapes!).The Samsung looks good! I always search YouTube for examples, here's one of the Samsung F30 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipuxUzhp1R0Quality looks very decent, I'd go with it! It's solid state too so its just a case of putting it into a card reader and dragging and dropping the footage. Please bear in mind that your editing software will have to support whatever files the camera produces. Try and do some research and find out what the camera is compatible with software wise Curry's *might* be able to tell you this... although I've never been impressed with their sales staff - was looking at a camera for 10mins behind the counter and the two sales staff were chatting. Walked away and only then did they ask if I wanted help lol!
