Some very interesting ideas on weight saving, when I say interesting I mean good. Maybe not for the harsher/heavier rider but I can see something like that doing me rightly.

I'd maybe suggest getting a rat tail file and filing your chamfer's around the drilling bit's, mainly for aesthetics but in theory it would also remove any stress risers same would go for the rims too, but I'd imagine you've considered all this before taking the dremel/drill to it!

Heheh, nice.

Drill your brake clamps.

Drill your handlebar (just the grip area), not only saves weight, but I heard it could make the grip more secure)

Anyone dare to drill the steerer tube? (just the top part where the stem is being clamped on)

Yeh trim alternate blocks of tread off the tyres, I saved 130g in total and I'm certain it grips better in mud and on the edges of things.

Very nice, I have some interesting ideas. :shifty:
