Captain Scarlet Posted November 25, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 25, 2007 Thanks for the comments everyone.I have solved the problem with the headset, the steerer tube was about a few millimetres too big, so the top cap hit the top of the steerer before it was anywhere near tight, so it wouldn't clamp down on the spacers properly.Just a bit of filing and jobs a good'un.I'm not going to cut the steerer tube down just yet, as there is currently only about 20mm poking out of the stem, and some of this may be taken up if I change my headset.But if it becomes a problem then I will do.
