powerz Posted December 22, 2006 Report Share Posted December 22, 2006 Right i have finaly got my new wheel and when i just even nip the wheel bolts up that clamp to the frame to hold the wheel, the bolts squash the frame and inbed themself's into the frame and bend the metal over so it clamps the axle making setting up the rear wheel very difficult,Anyone else have this problem, seems the back of the GU frame (dropout) is made of seriously soft metal Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dan6061 Posted December 22, 2006 Report Share Posted December 22, 2006 Every frame will do this.It's so you can use Snail cam tensioners inside the frame, and so it's easier to put the wheel in.Just do up the nuts/bolts at the same time, untill the frame has 'clamped' the hub bolts etc..then align it, and do it up tight.
