Rim Tape?

Are you sure you understand what rim tape is? Rim tape goes on the inside of the rim to cover the holes in the rim reducing the chance of puncturing the innertube. And it looks pritty cool to. :turned:

Righty, I've read a couple of times now people saying about using rim tape on their bikes. What exactly is its purpose? On a motorbike its for 'increased visibility' a.k.a. bling factor, does it have any special purpose on a trials bike? Surely it makes the brakes crappy?

It goes between ur tube and rim to stop the tube from gettin punctured on any rough spots on the rim itself!!

LOL close to peeing when i read this oh man youve made my night

glad to be of service!!

i really dont know how i made that association, i think it was because somebody said "what colour" my brain instantly thought the stick on stuff and not the rubber in between! as why would you bother about the colour of rim tape inside a tyre? but then i remembered the drilled rims.

im tired......
