Thom
http://www.leesonbikes.co.uk/summer.html# looks awesome, rear disk mount looks very neat and tidy.
poopipe
ooooh, look at the 505 when they say 135 rear hub do they mean stock spacing? that'd be sweet . king for under £400 on a mod (yay)the eccentric BB is the best idea i've seen in ages. it's tipped the eno eccentric hubs off the top spot. best start saving then... John Shrewsbury
I beleive its matt's 20inch bike, the 24inch ride's really nice, smooth and slick it is. Edited July 17, 2006 by John Shrewsbury
Rich Pearson
The internal hoses are by far the coolest. Gonna have them on my next bike.............Rich
Tomm
Wow, that looks amazing. I really, really want that eccentric BB. Damn, I thought I could get a cheap frame for my next bike, but that just looks too nice. Although like someone else said - that seat is a bit high. Joe_Elding
how does the BB work? I can't tell from the pic...
Prawny Baby
it looks like the shells split, with a pinch bolt so it can be clamped down onto the bbthe BB axle appears to run though an alloy carrier with an offset hole for the axle. so be turning the carrier in the bb shell you move the position of the axle!dead simple, but probably very effective. Joe_Elding
ahh cool cooldoes that mean you can change things like chainstay length aswell then?
Tomm
ahh cool cooldoes that mean you can change things like chainstay length aswell then?Well it's to run a chain without a tensioner, on vertical dropouts (well, 360 dropouts I guess). So yeah, it will indirectly change the chainstay length (and BB height), but only by a couple of mm at a time, nothing to worry about and not significant. It would be interesting to see an adjustable height BB though, using a much bigger cam
Fat-White-Boy
i dont normally say anything but that bike is the dogs dangleys, hmm, crimbos coming up soon
Brian Bleech
Couple the integrated seat post/tube design with a macneil style seat and that would be even better

Brian Bleech
we need usa bb shells on trials bikes i want a 505 why? Just to get an ajustable bb height Trials bikes should look towards using spanish bb's
TomN
Ok......they are the bees knees! Loving the mod ideas + look and loving the white Leeson! So much!
chrishayton
it needs a bash........i have to say that the stock/24 is beautiful. one of the nicest looking bikes i have ever seen. not my cup of tea in terms or riding style but i still want one. bb idea is good but seems risky, theress a lot of stress on a bb in trials and a split shell with 2 small steel bolts seems hmm a bit of a risk. Gazza
I always liked the internal cable routing in my old Klein Attitude.Already had all the tubing ready for my own triton frame. And now I see this beautiful Leeson with the brake hoses in the frame.I am going to make those anyway. Wrote this post so nobody would say I copied it from Leeson.I did it from Klein. This Leeson is soooo awesome...

Mark W
I dunno about that eccentric BB... I think I'd want to wait and see how it goes with others before I'd ever splash out on it. Just seems that basically, it's how tight you can do up those 2 little pinch bolts vs. the amount of force you're going to be putting into it doing big moves or whatever? In that when you land a big drop-gap, say, you're going to be basically putting a hell of a lot of force through your cranks and into the BB shell. All that force is going to be pushing it downwards, so it's basically JUST those two pinch bolts which have to grip the BB innerds hard enough to stop it from slipping down? The Eno eccentric hubs slip enough, and they have less force to deal with? Also, getting chain tension might be a bit tricky? With chain tugs you've gotta torque them up quite a bit, and the same with snail cams (Eh JT ), so all you've got to try and get the tension up on this is to loosen the pinch bolts and try and spin the inner BB shell around, so you don't have all that much leverage on it?I dunno, I haven't investigated it fully and it was just from the pics there, so there we go. The bikes look nice, just gotta hope people don't bend those integrated seat-tubes like they did the integrated T1 posts I s'pose...
Sameer
2 little pinch bolts vs. the amount of force you're going to be putting into it doing big moves or whatever? In that when you land a big drop-gap...It was built for Kris. I'm pretty sure he doesn't do those mahoosive Zoo!'esque drop gaps (not saying he can't...). Most of the buyers of 24" Leeson's aren't really people who go out and do burly drop gaps all day.I'm sure it'll be fine. Plus it looks amazing, so even if does break and you don't have it fixed - you can mount it on the fire place.
