    • I've been looking for my first street trial and the best option is a onza zoot pro that's black with purple graphics, but I've heard that zoots often break the chassis under the seatpost, is this right? In case I shouldn't rely on that zoot would I be able to do street trial on a echo mark 5 that's the second option?
    • I've always wanted to do street trial, but never had the bike, I only have my dad's trial motorcycle that got me into the trial disciplines and an old MTB and I can do surplace and a few rear wheel hops on it. Now I wanted to get myself a street trial to do things properly but the thing is I'm really on a small budget and the best offers I found were for a onza zotta pro (black and purple) and a echo mark 5, both in the picture and both for £335. If I want to do primarly street trial should I go for the onza that's a proper street trial but seems very old or should I go for the echo that's a bike trial but it's in literally perfect conditions? Also could someone explain to me what's the difference in wheel sizes? (I'm 1,68m tall)
    • Thanks all for your input. Feel like I am maybe leaning towards giving some rekons a go. I don't find the contis lack grip so not much benefit I wouldn't have thought from the casts for me. K rads I've ran in the past and in the cold / wet grip was awful! Never again. Holly rollers i ran for years before Contis existed and pre Contis they were my go to but I do recall a fair amount of pinch flats! I think the volumes is also now bigger and I'm keen to try something a little skinnier! I had the crossmarks when I had the Hex and assume the rekons aren't too far different unless someone knows different. The schwable billy bonkers are probably just a bit too thin at 2.0. Reading the above I am clearly very picky! In all honesty it will probably have zero bearing on my riding thinking about it but atleast it'll motivate me to ride my bike in the cold and wet!!
    • After 25 years of trials I finally learned to tap.  Still learning to push it higher, but was tapping about 4" higher than I can currently pedal up. Took me long enough
    • I received my Cast Stunt Doubles last week and had my first proper session on them on Saturday, heavy but very grippier than the Conti's. I've also ran Massis Rekon's which are grippy, light but wear fast and I've found they pinch flat fairly easy if running lower psi. I tend to run 30/35psi and still running a tubed setup.
